This knife sits in your hand perfectly. It is sharp right to the tip, well balanced and beautifully made. It was purchased to replace a Wusthof knife that was purchased as part of a set over 30 years ago, I hope this one lasts just as long.

Wüsthof UK Customer Service was recently sometimes slow and sticky; now appears to go via US; better. Phoning Wüsthof in Germany got me a good chat and excellent support. Not Japanese high fliers, but their knives are easily sharp enough for me, and they are made not in China but in Europe.
