I got fed up of the procession of useless scissors that passed through our kitchen, admittedly my wife would end up using them in the garden for low level pruning and cutting but even so they would become loose and would not cut anything after a matter of months. So, I knew the answer was properly made German scissors and so it has proved. I just have to stop my wife using them in the garden. . . .
