Browsing the Addicted to Audio site, I noticed the A&K Kann Ultra at a very good price...and made the decision to purchase. A few clicks, and the A to A delivery team flew in to action. Confirmation, Tracking, Dispatch notification, delivery expectation dates....Excellent service, which gives you a great sense of confidence. It arrived as fast as an order, placed just before an Australian long weekend, would be expected to take. What a unit. Quite large, impressive form factor. Impeccable build quality...with a unique volume knob design. 4 Stage gain. Enough power to drive hard to feed, over ear 'phones. The sound? Robust. Detailed. Capable of thunderous, clear bass, and sparkling Irish whistles and fiddles. And out of this world female vocals. Coming from an A&K SR35, this is the next level. Paired with a pair of Thieaudio Oracle Mk2 iems, the Ultra just delivers hi definition music that envelops you. It has all the latest technical improvements of the A&K range, and is easy to navigate with the large screen and the Crimson UI. 4.4mm and 3.5mm sockets. Sound quality is very good, however the volume does not “remember” the previous level when turning ps5 off and back on. Each time doing this the volume of the headphones resets itself to maximum.
