Disappointing sound quality, two stars. After several days of testing, I found the Noble FoKus Mystique falls short of expectations. The midrange is muddy, with vocals and instruments lacking separation. High frequencies have harsh peaks (6-8kHz), causing painful sibilance and distortion on tracks with “s”, “sh”, “t”, or “ch” sounds. EQ adjustments and burn-in help slightly, but cannot fully resolve the issues. Overall, the tuning feels unbalanced and fatiguing. Not recommended for critical listening at this price.

I had an issue with my FiiO Warmer that I purchased online. I took my what I thought was a faulty unit back to Addicted to Audio in Richmond and expressed my concerns with Lewis. Whilst in the end the unit was not faulty Lewis was happy to swap the unit over just in case, his service was extremely professional and pleasant and I cannot speak highly enough of the service that received from Lewis and the whole team at Addicted to Audio Richmond store. Turns out the noise from FiiO Warmer was being caused by my solar power system (inverter) not a faulty product as it turns out. I highly recommend Addicted to Audio if you want great service and product support.
