My wife has been having a hard time getting around the house, and this transfer chair has made things a lot easier for both of us. We mainly use it to move her between the bed, sofa, and bathroom. The sling is comfortable, and the chair feels solid and steady during transfers. I really like that it rolls smoothly and the brakes hold well when we stop. It also fits pretty close to the bed or chair, which makes transfers much less of a struggle. I don’t have to put as much strain on my back anymore. This has been a huge help for my mom after an injury affected her mobility. We mainly use it at home for daily walking and gait practice. It’s very sturdy and gives her something solid to hold onto, which makes her feel much more confident on her feet. It is definitely big and bulky, so it’s not something we’d take around NYC. Assembly is required, but once it’s set up, it’s been great for her everyday rehab and walking practice.

It's comfortable but more importantly it's stable. I fell from the cheaper versions, but this one has 4 inch feet and it's generally just built better.

This lift was absolutely what we needed! Took a bit to get used to handling, but it sure did the trick. Helped to get my husband off the sofa and could then transport to wherever. We learned about this kind of equipment while my husband was in the hospital for a ACL knee. Due to this device we were able to bring him home for his recovery. He was instructed not to put weight on the surgery side for 6-8 weeks and we were worried about how he would transfer from bed to commode and to his chair.
