Just what I needed!

Used to transfer a handicap individual from chair to bed, and toilet. Works extremely well, smooth, quiet.

I have a family member who is unable to get out of her chair due to a disability, and it hurts her for us to help her out of her chair. With Achairgo, we can help her go from her chair to her bed without hurting her. The sling can be moved around her body with very little movement on her part, and the machine lifts slowly so that we can ease her into the lift, and also lower her comfortably so that we can adjust the sling when needed. The only problem we've had is that one of the ball bearing assembles at the pivot point of the lift-arm broke, but I messaged the seller, and he express-mailed several ball bearing assemblies to me so that I could replace the broken one and have more on hand if needed. I'm impressed by the lift, the sling, and the customer service.

My wife has ALS and I was looking for something to transport her that is not as cumbersome as a Hoyer lift. This is very stable to transport and easy to use, but the soft seat with the opening for toileting is extremely difficult to use and position properly. I like how comfortable and stable the move feels, unlike a Hoyer lift, but I believe the person being transported needs to have some strength to assist getting seated, otherwise this lift is hard to position correctly. The soft seats are very hard to use, so not sure they are a beneficial accessory.

It meets my needs quite well. The height adjustment feature is especially useful, allowing me to transition easily between the sofa, wheelchair, and my Ford car. Since I lost control of my legs in a car accident, they tend to stretch out uncontrollably, causing my balance to shift, which has been a big problem for me. I’ve had trouble finding a product that keeps me from sliding down, but the front leg guard design of this chair has really helped. It provides extra support, allowing me to sit more securely and reducing the risk of sliding. Honestly, I’m truly grateful for this ingenious design. It has solved a major issue I’ve been dealing with for a long time. For someone like me with special needs, this chair is a very practical choice.
