Great air compressor works outstanding would buy it again and again

I love gear, tools, gadgets, being prepared while on adventures, things that are well made and thoughtful design. The Recon Mini tics all those boxes at a five star level!

Recieved the 460p compressor in great shape. Opened up the package and put everything in the bag it came with. Looks and feels sturdy. Comes with everything. Can't wait to try it out. I do a lot of offloading in the desert and wanted something to top my tires back up after deflating them. Might have to purchase the 5 prong so I can have access to the back of the truck.

Viair is an excellent for quality equipment.

Good products, but somewhat expensive - But, as the Old Saying goes, You Get What You Pay For… (I would not mind as much, IF this last purchase was Had the features it Should Have Had, for the price I paid - This, was to Replace a previous Viair purchase, that ALSO ended up being NOT What I Thought I Was Getting…) (( Do Love my 400P Automatic, except for the Cost… ))

I have used the unit a few times to top off mountain bike and gravel bike tires. The unit has a couple of issues, but, once I figured them out I am able to use the product. Issue #1. Adjusting the air pressure. If you try to rapidly increase or decrease the setting, it switches to Bar from PSI. Very annoying. I have to start over. Issue #2. The presta fitting. It doesn’t seat correctly without some “jiggling”. This prevents most attempts to see existing air pressure before starting the pump. This issue also causes a little air to escape while trying to remove the unit. For example when topping off a 25 PSI mountain bike tire, We end up with 23 or 24 PSI. Again, good in a pinch but not good enough to be my go to when preparing for a ride. I am hoping there are resolutions for theses issues as I do want the unit to be all I need for prepping and in-ride maintenance.

Great product. A little louder than expected, but it works great.
