I received the boot, which appears to be a previously worn returned item. Upon closer inspection, I discovered female hair inside and significant sole wear, indicating extensive prior use. Given my familiarity with this boot model from purchasing two pairs previously, I had anticipated receiving a brand new pair in pristine condition. However, that was not the case, and instead of initiating a return, I chose to retain the boots.

5. 11 is a solid company that creates great wearing and durable pants and shirts! They ship and deliver on time and I have never had a problem with any of the items that I've purchased for my husband.

90% of the clothes I own come from 5. 11 (only 90 because occasionally you need a suit). I haven't really "shopped" for clothes for years, but if I'm in a brick and mortar sporting goods store, I'll do a drive by the Men's section and conclude (as usual) that I'm not going to pay more than I would ordering from 5. 11, for a product that is inferior in quality to what I get from 5. 11.

The only reason I shop online is because I cannot bring myself to walk into the store at the commerce location due to the rude and disrespectful staff especially the manager at this store. I used to love shopping here in person taking my time looking at the new gear and also occasionally stopping by the discounted warehouse in the back. But my experiences here have been very negative in the last couple of years due to the young immature female manager who felt she could speak to customers anyway she want to. I can see if this was a one time situation, but unfortunately, it happened to me twice at this location and on two different occasions with the same person. I vowed never to go back to that store again and shame my experiences with my agency, department and friends. I know no one will read this and I know no one will ever do anything about it. The only thing that keeps me occasionally coming back to the online store is to check out the POTM. I use to love collecting them. 🤷‍:male_sign:
