We expanded our lease through SunPower and added a battery and Precis Solar handled the permitting and HOA process as well as the install. The process went very well as far as the setup - Taryn, Denise, and Bret stayed very on top of everything with me, constantly checking in on whether or not I'd received HOA approval. Sean, who did the install with another guy whose name I didn't get, was very professional. In fact, it was the first time I ever had someone enter the attic and not leave insulation everywhere after exiting. Would recommend!

I purchased a system from Precis in 2018. Everyone from the beginning was friendly and knowledgeable. The install was seamless and my system look absolutely amazing. 6 years later and it is still producing more than we anticipated. Precis over delivered and we couldn't be more pleased! I'm sure SDGE doesn't like sending me money every year but I thoroughly enjoy spending their money!

Highly highly recommend! Excellent installers, engineers, and managers. After months of delay due to permitting and weather (outside of SunPower's control), my 28 solar panel and 4x Tesla gen2 Powerwall setup was finally commissioned and online as of May 11th, 2023. Everything turned on and worked, I am beyond ecstatic! I now have plenty of solar panels and battery, with 11. 5 KW of peak solar, and 4x Tesla gen2 Powerwalls at 54 KWH of energy storage to power my Tesla and everything in the house. The only miscommunication was when I checked the critical battery load list, they didn't put my mini-split AC / heater on it initially. When I complained about it the manager said they usually don't put air conditioning on backup uploads to protect the Tesla Powerwall batteries. I explained that before the solar project started I installed an energy efficient mini-split AC / Heater system that has slow soft start capability and is battery friendly, and confirmed with the engineer who installed the mini-split AC system, as well as SunPower's engineer. I have plenty of sun and battery power to operate this AC system, the math works out. SunPower by Precis then came back a month later to change the backup load, free of charge. Now everything is working perfectly and I can charge my Tesla with the power of the sun and power the entire house, including mini-split AC / heater, and be unaffected by extended power outages. If you install battery friend mini-split AC systems, and want it on the backup load, just make sure you communicate that clearly ahead of time with their engineers and ensure it gets added to the critical backup loads sheet with their managers/installers because putting AC on critical battery backup is non-standard, especially not the traditional HVACs that have a large spiky startup current that's really bad for batteries.

Precis Solar is awesome! They are quick to respond and schedule a consultation. Very informative and straight forward and literally provide the BEST solar panels on the market at a very competitive price! I highly recommend them to anyone looking into solar!

In the summer we were at 550. Our lowest bill so far has been 328 and that was last month. Getting solar because we are building an ADU and putting in a pool so a lot of guess work going into our estimate too. Only lived here for about 8 months so we don't have total history. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! After getting quotes from 7 different companies, I couldn’t be happier with my solar project completed by SunPower by Precis. Not only did they beat all other quotes, they destroyed them! I did extensive research on the different panels, inverters, gateways, batteries, etc. For my home, I went with 28 LG 390 Watt Neon R panels, Enphase IQ7A micro inverters, Enphase IQ Envoy and 2 Tesla Powerwall batteries. Roughly an 11kW Solar System. Working with Patricio Rodriguez as my sales rep was a true pleasure. He listened to my needs and answered all of my questions at all times of the day and night. Even when I asked him the same thing numerous times! Lol. Patricio is very honest and straight forward. He does not make false promises and will do everything in his power to get you what you want while staying within your budget. When it was time for install, Josue and his crew were amazing! Very prompt, always on time, courteous and respectful. The crew took their time and exceeded my expectations on the esthetics by running all conduit inside my attic and color matching the paint of anything that was visible on the side of my home. Josue is very professional and knowledgeable, I felt very comfortable and confident in his abilities to lead my install. The whole process was made easy due to the companies ability to have the smartest engineers and an extremely helpful staff. At the end of the day, we are making a big investment and I whole heartedly recommend SunPower by Precis.

I'm loving Install. This is what I requested from my Sales Rep Tim Marquez. Edison shut down the power on the whole block for service maintenance. Most of the house is running on the back up batteries. The first pic shows when it was running on battery only, the second pic shows how the solars panels are powering the house & charging the battery now that the sun is out. Pretty cool My wife works from home & is able to continue working since we still have power & working internet!! Thank you Tim Marquez for the great service!

Paul Walker epitomized the best customer service, no non sense straight to the point an expert to his field of work. I am deeply pleased and impressed. Paul always follow up, came on time, and didn't stop reaching out to give me an updates and how's everything throughout the process and installations until it was up and running. I was especially impressed with his cheerful and friendly response to all my questions & comments and all my emails event thou he was on vacation, never stop working . Just got my PTO a couple of days ago, wanted to provide a review of the process. After doing my research, one of the reasons I selected Sunpower by Precis was the quality of the installation from the sample pictures my sales rep Kathy had shown. They ran all of the wiring through the attic and the installation is very clean. I live in an older home build in 1963, I had to replace the roof and upgrade my service from 100 amp to 200 amp, all of that was included in the quote. The partners they used for the panel upgrade and the roof were very good and every bit as professional as Sunpower by Precis was. The installers they sent for the Solar panels and final configuration were all very friendly and professional. Everyone they sent were very timely when they provided arrival times for their schedules. They handled all of the paperwork, permitting, and inspections. I signed the contract in April with a start date of 6/1/2021 and completion date of 8/1/2021. I expected the dates to slip with all of the Covid delays especially around permits and inspections. They kept the process moving throughout and had the installation completed by the end of July, just had to wait for final inspections and PTO from SCE which we got by mid-August. No surprises and no issues, I want to think Kathy and Fran for making this such a smooth process. I certainly would recommend them to any of friends.

I have my solar system with SunPower by Precis for 8 yrs now, and I am a very happy customer. Their service has been always an A+. It was done professionally, thoroughly, and timely manner even during COVID lockdown in California. When I saw something not normal with my solar system, I contacted the company. They checked the system, contacted the manufacture, and sent technician to fix the problem in a matter of days. Being so satisfied with the customer service, I asked Kathy if I could pay in advance to extend workmanship for my system. She said the company is fair in costs for the service if I needed, so there was no need to pay in advance.

Kristin and the Precis team delivered on time, a great product (so far as I can tell a year into the installation), and my family is saving a ton of money each month due to having Solar installed. I'd surely recommend SunPower to others.

The SUNPOWER by Precis team was INCREDIBLE to work with from start to finish. My first contact was with Kristin k. (Sales Associate) and she provided me with all the information that I needed regarding installing solar in my home. Due to COVID, my contacts were by email or by phone. Kristin was very timely in her response to all my questions. Once, I decided to go with SUNPOWER, I was contacted by Chelsea B. (Sales Coordinator) and Aryn D. (Admin) who provided me with various information regarding what would be needed for the HOA approval, and what to expect in getting a permit from the County. During this time, I was contacted by the design team regarding the finalization of the roof design with the solar panels. About a week later I was contacted by Christian H. (Engineer) who let me know the solar designs were being emailed to me, and if I had any questions to call him. Christian also explained what the next steps would be regarding installation. Once I received approval from my HOA, solar installation began the following day. The installation team, lead by Ed, arrived at the scheduled time and completed the solar project in two (2) days. During the installation, Ed explained what would be done and how the electrical would be placed. All the electrical wiring was installed in the attic and NO conduit was placed on the roof. Ed provided me with pictures of the solar panels on the roof to send to my HOA. After the project was completed, the working area was left clean. Lastly, the main reasons for selecting SUNPOWER by Precis were their warranties on the solar panels, equipment, and any roof leakage. The customer service has been OUTSTANDING. I did a massive amount of research on solar panel technology, inverter technology, average cost per watt, our home power consumption, and comparing price vs system efficiency. After the research we decided that REC 370 solar panels with Enphase iQ7+ micro inverters was the right mix of cost vs performance and technology. We paid about 2. 7 dollars per watt for Sunpower by Precis to install our entire system. If that was the end of the story that would be good. However, from the sales person Kathy to the engineering team to the production team to the installation team then the final check out with the power company and the city, all the paper work was done for me and was checked thoroughly. Any question was answered quickly. Fran even found an error from the Solar Panel manufacture warranty paper work out of Germany and had them resolve the problem immediately. I would never have noticed the error in 1 of the 30 panels but Fran noticed it and emailed them and informed me. It was taken care of and followed up on to completion. I can not say enough about every phase of the process. The installation crew was very professional and communicated with us about everything they were doing. The check out service person gave me a great overview of the system and even replaced a bad switch in my existing service panel. I did not get all of their names but Thank you Kathy, Aryn, Fran, Chelsea, and all the installers, and check out people. Great job!

From the inital quotation/design stage all the way through system turn-on, these guys were terrific. Their pricing was competitive, their installation team was great and the system works as well as I had hoped. During the installation, while running a conduit through our attic, one of the crew accidentally stepped through the ceiling in our kitchen. No one was injured, and it wasn't until they called it to our attention that we even noticed it. The project manager made arrangements to have the drywall fixed and repainted professionally and made sure we were satisfied. Thanks everyone- we're very happy we went with Sunpower by Precis.

From the first call for info to the last inspection and after Kathy Courtney and the crew of SunPower by Precis have been there answering all my question and advising me of each procedure along the way. This is the most professional company I have ever done business with.

Working with Precis has been a breeze, compared with another solar contractor (to remain nameless) I initially engaged with. They've been responsive, knowledgeable and competent throughout the process. Kristin, my sales rep, was helpful and understanding. She explained everything over and over until I understood and has been available for follow up questions throughout the process. The installation went far faster than I'd imagined (they were done in a day), and even though they had a small mishap (they broke the ceiling in my kitchen while working in the attic above) they called my attention to it, and made arrangements to fix it. Just waiting for SDGE to give me the go ahead to turn the system on.

Tim Marquez was my sales representative for Precis. He was great, just a nice guy and he was straight with us regarding what to expect and we got the job done. Also we had a hard stop to get the system up and running prior to the Net Metering 1. 0 termination date. We got it done and it was a tight time frame.
