Lovely device!
I was a bit skeptic but I decided to order anyway. The first few days I found it painful to use. I pressed too hard and had a hard time adjusting to it. Now I use it daily at my study at the university and I export my notes and order them in Microsoft Onenote which makes me able to add search words which is really neat. For me this is a great device because I dont have to lug around a lot of different papers and blocks all the time. There are some shortcomings though. The device have crashed 3 times and I thought the battery life would be better. It last 2-3 days with my usage which is acceptable but I still would like to see it last a little longer. Because there is no browser I am unable to use it on the wifi at my school because I have to log in and verify the login which I cant. My work around is to use the wifi on my laptop and share its connection to the reMarkable. These things are okay and could be expected. When that is said I got two main issues with the device. First is that it is underpowered for larger epubs, ebooks, pdfs and so forth. Loading them in takes a while and is sluggish to navigate. Small pdfs is no problem though and works like a charm. My second issue is that the tip wears down damn quick. I've never used a digitizer or anything else with a tip that wears down that fast. This concerns me because if I keep wearing them down at this rate then the reMarkable is gonna be an expensive tool to use. That said I really love the device and people at my university are all curious about the device when they see it. When they hear my work flow they really like the idea about it but they all loose interest because of the price. For me it is worth it though which is why i keep it.

This thing is great ...
I'm finding all sorts of reasons and excuses to use my new remarkable … besides the chore I purchased it for. It's amazing. I thought it would be cool and kinda fun but it's already become a valuable tool for me.

Good - but needs improvements
-Pen tips are expensive and wear out quickly - can only read and save in PDF format. - text convert inadequate and no easy way to store on tablet, should convert text on a full document basis, not per page - I like it’s simplicity - very good at reducing paper - however does not eliminate need for laptop

Great so far
Does everything as described and advertised. It definitely feels like writing on paper and is very responsive. Synchronizes quickly with the cloud and PC. I have not yet tried the conversion to text capability so I cannot comment on that at this point. There are a few things (mostly minor) that I hope they will improve with new software releases, such as: 1) Improve the power on speed. It's not bad but could be faster. 2) Ability to set default settings for pen, sorting, etc. Also, once the device powers off it does not seem to remember previous settings for sorting files and displaying list vs. grid, etc. It would be great to remember these for each section. For example, on the My Files front page, I'd like to sort by Name, but within a folder, I'd like to sort by Most Recently Used. 3) The search capability does not seem to work. Also, it would be great to have a microSD slot for more storage. Overall, I like it very much and am definitely keeping it and using it to replace my handwritten notes on paper notepads.

I lime it because I focus on the important
The epub reader must be improved like kindle with comments, index, dictionary,...

WOW! What a GREAT device!!
I love it. No more lost notes. No more stray pages laying around no more bulky note books, binders or laptops to lug around. Everything is easy to find and in order.

ReMarkable is remarkable
I really love using the Remarkable. It is so easy to us. I am very glad that I purchased it.

Handy!
This thing is just what Remarkable advertises. Response is spot on, everything just works. One note though, I purchased a cheap folio with a magnetic closure, bad idea. Magnets mess with the screen, nothing permanent. It “healed” after a day. Tablet is much better than paper for me! Only draw back Is the expense. $500 is some serious coin, that being said I feel like I received a quality tool for that amount of money. Is it worth it? That’s a personal call, I feel that for me, it is.

Amazing!
I absolutely love my remarkable! Best investment ever! I use it for personal and professional all organized separately, it's amazing since I'm definitely a paper person 😉.

Great for editing
I use it edit manuscripts. And I like to sketch ideas in the notebooks too. It’s great because it blends the convenience of a tablet with the desirable qualities of writing on paper. Highly recommended.

Needs work
I've so far loved this product and have gotten a lot of use out of it. However the app on the PC needs work as well as how you transfer converted articles. So far I can't see a use for the app. You can't transfer converted items to it instead you have to email yourself. It also would be nice to see some of the writing tools along the top bar instead of down the side when it's reduced. I quite often use the entire page and have to continuously reopen the sidebar to get to the eraser option.

Best thing ever
Much loved by all my older friends, great for clients, but would like to be able to search for words to find a clients name or postcode!

I love the reMarkable. I
I love the reMarkable. I gave it four stars because I am working through how to use all of the features. I still have not learned to delete documents, create folders that I can find, download e-books. I like the idea of having a writing tablet handy. The screen color makes documents hard to read. I wish it was a touch screen where I can make documents--print enlarger is not user-friendly. I like the capability of being able to export hard to read documents to my computer for the Oh, by the way, I am not a Millenial or G-X so it takes a little more time to master... Bottom Line I love reMarkable and look forward to giving 5 stars...

Almost perfect. Battery Life is weak.
This is as close to writing on paper that you can get to. It is stunning in its tactile feel, the organization and the templates that are available. The ONLY thing I wish for is a better battery life.

Awsome
Great writing and note taking tool. Actually very addictive. Syncing process still needs a bit of work.

Great upgrade
I have been looking to paper alternative for years: digital pens are able to digitise your notes, but the reMarkable paper tablet goes one step further. Organising notes while writing them and reshuffling afterwards while text recognition let you share them with colleagues. Like a regular table which does not feel as natural as reMarkable’s. The definitive upgrade to something that stood for years: paper note taking. You should try it to believe it.
