Excellent investment
Superb device for a paper lover like myself. Instead of all the piles of unused and barely started notebooks, I can keep everything in one place. Okay so pros and cons. Pros: Digital Paper notebook to keep all your pages in one place. Great for drawing, keeping logs, finances, etc. Feels nice to write on. It's the size of a notebook and it's not heavy. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination up to 100,000 pages. Also, there are updates that make the reMarkable experience even better each time. Cons: I was expecting battery life to last around 2 weeks (for some reason I was under that impression), but it lasts a few days (3-5) . It helps to turn the wifi off and airplane mode on. Also, the tips of the pen wear through for me about every 2-3 weeks. It can definitely last longer depending on use. I occasionally draw so I wear them down a bit faster. The tips aren't expensive though. I believe they are $12 for 8 tips. Last, it's pricy, but consider it an investment. Using this tablet instead of paper helps save paper which saves trees which gives people more oxygen which helps people create things like the reMarkable. Overall, I consider this a good investment. A cell phone costs $600 plus and people buy them all the time. This device should honestly be in schools (think high school and college), offices, and anywhere paper is found (as much as possible). It's convenient, easy to use, helps keep things organized, and the updates are wonderful "upgrades" if you will.

My new best friend at the office
LOVE my ReMarkable and can’t wait to see how the technology continues to evolve. I’m currently just using to take all my handwritten notes, but so much applicability moving forward. If there was integration with things like email and OneNote it would be even more powerful. Everyone at works asks about my new tool and are all impressed. Can’t imagine going without it. Can’t wait til there is more scale and corporate IT is willing to download the computer app.

Awesome product
Overall, I love the Remarkable pad so far. I am a psychologist and I have been using it to write notes in session. I previously tried the iPad pro and pencil, but I found that the tapping sound of the pen on the glass was distracting. The Remarkable is silent and does feel like writing on paper. I really like the app for copying my tablet notes to our e-system. My only complaints are minimal. I've noticed that sometimes the buttons to advance to a new page need to be pushed 2-3 times before the screen advances. Similarly, finger presses to open files aren't always recognized. I'm not sure if this is because the device is lagging or if it is that the presses aren't detected. With the app, I've noticed that the PDF files I export to my temporary desktop folder on my iMac continuous re-appear in my mac folder even after I have moved them to the trash and emptied it. Every morning, the PDF notes that I had emptied the evening before are back in the desktop folder. I'm not sure if this is a mac issue or app issue. Finally, printing directly from the tablet would be a great feature. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Looking forward to more control over templates in the future as well.

Remarkable
Very nice pad. It does one thing well. I wish you could restore erased pages. Points wear out quickly too.

This changed my workflow for the better!
I used to have multiple paper pads for my work projects. I would keep notes as long as I thought I needed them then tear off pages as my projects progressed to only find out later, I needed to refer to something written weeks earlier. Now, I've ditched the paper pads and do everything from my reMarkable. My desk is clean and I can easily find notes I wrote weeks ago. I'm finding more ways to use my reMarkable than I had originally intended!

Awesome!!
I love this thing! I am a note taker and have multiple clients that I need to keep track of requests for. This enables me to keep all of my notes in one place to keep with me and reference when needed. The missing star is because it sometimes freezes when I'm trying to shut it off and I wish the screen had options for colour. However, I'm very impressed with the feel of the writing experience, feels very similar to paper!

Nice substitute for your averagee
Nice substitute for your averagee paper notebook, very light weight. Pricy, but if you like these kind of gadgets it's worth a try. If you write a lot the tips use up rather quickly.

Great as a notebook, not so great for sketching
Pros: - The screen is great; you really feel like looking at paper. - Light and easy to carry - Easy to start using Cons: - Sensitivity is not as good as I expected. Every now and then it does something I have no intention to do (creates new pages, closes the current one etc.). - It is not really a tool for sketching - it starts great but when the page contains a lot of details, some of the functionality (deleting and canceling previous action for example) works so slow that it becomes impossible to work with. - Tips need to be replaced very frequently. I used the remarkable daily and I need to replace it like every 2 weeks. I suggest improving it or send more tips in the first place (at least 4 packs). - Expected battery to last longer. - There is no shipping to Israel, so in order to buy it we need to use a third-party service. In total the price is way too high. I like your product a lot, but, including delivery to Israel, it is overpriced. I showed it to many of my colleagues at work and my friends. everyone liked it but were shocked by the price. Currently, only 2 might buy it, and its due to the high price. Missing functionality: - Add shapes and create straight lines. - Create my own templates. - Using black screen and writing/sketching in white (without manually painting the whole page in black). - sensitivity reflected by color (light to dark) when using more and less pressure with the pen. - In Marker mode – add sizes option. There are a lot of cons in my overview, but I’d like to emphasize – this is a good device and I like it. I note the cons because I think you can make it a great one :) Attaching some stuff I sketched with it.

Next level writing tool!
Unlike any other gadget, I have literally used my ReMarkable every single day since I got it. Beyond worth the price. I highly recommend it to everyone!!

Simply Great
I am a fan of products that is design for one thing, and one thing only. Though the reMarkable is a tablet to both fead and write on, it feels like it is heavely focused on the writing experience. And that is a good thing. You use the reMarkable when you need to take notes or write something down, and the reMarkable excels at it. Then you can use a phone or a tablet to search the web instead of getting a product that both, but then also not as well.

Amazing Device if you really like notebooks
The remarkable is a wonderful writing device. I use notebooks for everything; I'm a make-a-list, write-it-out kind of person. That said, the Remarkable is perfect for these things. I still use notebooks sometimes, as I still love the real thing (ie, paper and pencil), but I think using the remarkable is about as close as you can get to the real thing. Pros: as close as you can get to actual paper and pencil; you can organize your notes (no more searching through 3 different notebooks to find something); the charge lasts a long time; it is small and very easy to take with me wherever I go; I home school and my daughter really likes using the device for writing (so it makes my job easier as suddenly writing is more exciting!) Cons - You can't name your notebooks on the device itself, you have to do this through the Remarkable App on your computer/phone; the convert-to-text doesn't stay true to how you write it (for example, if you write a heading BIG, and the text small, it still all comes out on the typed page in the size 10 font) So if you do move hand-written work to a typed doc there is a lot of re-formatting to do; there is no eraser on the "pencil" itself (I want to be able to erase quickly, not have to push a number of buttons to erase one or two messed up letters). So, are there a few things to improve upon? Yes. But is this a wonderful device for writing and can it take the place of bunches of unwieldy notebooks and papers? Definitely! I think it is a wonderful device!

Almost there
I love how easy it is to use and write with it. It is the perfect size. I just wish it had a feature to convert to a typed document and reorganize files.

Perfect for Handwriting Note Takers
I have always preferred to make notes by hand in meetings, thinking about new ideas, doing outlines, etc. I have a shelf full of paper notebooks from years of consulting. With this I can organize notes, have different notebooks for different clients, or individuals within a client, new ideas, etc. And having it digital and available on a desktop/laptop makes it even better. And best of all it still feels like writing on paper - the most important aspect for me.
