i would like to see a video or manual that better describes the charging and off-battery welding modes and options.

Every experience I have had with this company has been nothing but amazing!!! From ordering to my welder arriving 3 days after my order. Customer service is a 10!!! This welder is everything advertised and the. Some. If you haven’t purchased one of these welders it is more handy then you can imagine. This welder is awesome so far. No need for batteries with the built in battery. Welds amazing for a battery welder. Well worth the money

I tested it out before my trip to Moab on a stuck exhaust manifold bolt and it worked great! Worked great, easy to use! It’s one of things you want to have and hope to never use on the trail.

Great portable welder

I had the Hobart 180 before but the batteries didn’t last but 2 years. The karnage is more compact and easier to use. It works great . Time will tell .

Had to repair a upper link mount that ripped out of the frame……. Worked like a champ and we were back up and running. Then back at camp tacked a hydro steering link that kept backing off on the trail….. so far loving it !!!!!!!

This thing is awesome! It burns hotter than you think it would. I ran .035 through it on .25” angle steel and it burn in solid. I got it for trail fixes and small stuff but since it did so well, I’m putting it to the test and welding up a 2” receiver on the front of a F250 truck for a winch. This thing lays some awesome welds for what it is, so if it doesn’t workout I’ll just blame my welding abilities lol

I carried jumper cables and rods forever. Never used them. Always found a way to fix a break with zip ties, hose clamps or whatever. Then i ran a ready welder and started using it but pulling the batteries out of vehicles was a pain so again i would often resort to other trail repair options. Now that i have the karnage it comes out on every wheeling trip. So far it’s only been used on other peoples rigs but I’d prefer it be that way. It’s easy to use and setup. Welds are strong. I can setup up and weld faster then you can pull zip ties and hose clamps out of your tool box. I definitely recommend buying one.

Compact powerful portable welder. Will be a great addition to my trail rig.

Would not work right out of the box first time. Kept spooling wire out and only way to stop it would be to shut it off. Big inconvenience to have to repackage and for me it's a 20 mi round-trip to get to a UPS Store to return it. I do have to say the turnaround time for the repair was fast but still waiting at this time to receive it back.

I bought this welder to have for remote welding and repairs on the trail. I have not had to use the welder on the trail yet, but my initial welding at home for setup seems really good. Great penetration and easy to use! Love this thing already and the peace of mind that comes with having it. Thanks

Works as advertised

I got my welder 2 weeks before leaving for Moab. Never had a chance to use it. 3rd day out I broke my trackbar mount off the frame. So now is the time. Got out my grinder and welder. Very easy to use and fixed it in 30 minutes. 1 week later and still no problem with the repair. The welding mask I got from them worked great too. Fixed right on the trail and finished the rest of the trail. Golden Spike.

Packaging was fantastic! When you care enough to package your product in this outstanding manner I expect the product itself to be exceptional. I haven't had a chance to try the unit yet, but am very impressed with build quality. Will have a permanent spot in my crawler!
