Product arrived damaged - can't reach anyone for resolution
Ordered a Dream bedroom suit. Initially I was offered a return or repair (item was no longer available). I chose repair and have had no response. I've attempted to call and email (to Muriel in support) with no response. Additionally, there was a backordered item and I've been unable to contact anyone to find out the status of that item (initially, it was expected to ship in late January or early February).

Additionally, there was a backordered item and I've been unable to contact anyone to find out the status of that item (initially, it was expected to ship in late January or early February).
Terrible Communication
If I could give zero stars I would! I placed an order 3 months ago and haven’t heard anything since. I have written 8 emails and have not heard back at all. I understand things happen but to have someone spend nearly $3,000 and then completely disappear is just bad business.

Welp, 2 stars because it looks cool. We got the woodrow box sofa and the first shipment, the sofa showed up with the box totally banged up and part of the visible wooden frame broken. We contacted the company and we had to arrange and pay for someone to pick it up and ship it back. The second one arrived and this time with a stain on it, but after the ordeal, and the fact that we just needed a couch, we kept it. What a mistake. We've had the couch for two years and it looks like it's a decade old. The material is frayed and pilled. The arms of the couch are separated from the wooden frame. We bought this couch because it was such a statement piece but it now looks so bad we have to just cover it with a blanket. Save your time, sanity, and money, and go elsewhere.

I have a subscription for the magazine, which was awesome for the issues I actually did receive. Then out of the blue they totally stopped sending them. NO refund for the remaining issues, NO response from customer service. If this is how this company operates for a mere magazine subscription, OMG, I'd NEVER trust them to ship out expensive furniture. Stay away. . . . . . .

I ordered a cabinet February 2024. January 2025 I was told the item was discontinued. I was offered a replacement item or my money back. I picked another cabinet, that was in stock. The cabinet was scheduled to be delivered 2/14/25 but on 2/6/25 I received a call from the shipper stating that the item was placed on hold by Kardiel and could not be delivered. I have left several voicemails and emails since 2/6 with NO RESPONSE. I tried disputing the payment with Visa but was told it was too long ago the card was charged; I called BBB and finally my local news channel for resolution. VERY FRUSTRATED!

We placed an order for a coffee table on 11/25/24. Kardiel notified us on 12/10/24 that the product was shipping and they needed to confirm shipping details. On 12/16 we received a note that “the item is no longer in stock. ” On 12/17 we were told that a refund was requested from accounts payable. After phone calls and follow-up emails on 1/24/25 and 1/31/25, 2/3/25 and 2/10/25 we still haven’t received any response or refund. At this point we are out $726. 70 and a good amount of time and energy with no end in sight. Steer clear of this company.

But once they canceled our order, they refused to send even those—leaving us empty-handed and our clients disappointed. Their furniture is cheap, poorly made, and nothing more than a “look for less” gimmick. Worse, their customer service is nonexistent. I have been waiting weeks for a client’s refund, despite being initially assured it would take only 15-20 days. They refuse to refund to the original form of payment and insist on cutting a check—yet even that has yet to arrive. To top it all off, their phone lines go straight to voicemail no matter when you call. No responses. No accountability. No regard for their customers. If you’re considering doing business with them, don’t. This company is a nightmare.

The furniture we ordered was perfect. The delivery and Kardiel's response was horrible. We paid for white glove service. When the delivery came, the shippers refused to carry it up the steps. Then they ran off and didn't set it up. Calls to Kardiel have gone unanswered. We ended up carrying the furniture ourselves and hired somebody else to set it up.

I order 7 items, you charged my credit card, told me they were shipped and out of the blue CANCELLED my order a month later?! No notice, nothing. This is no way to treat a customer.

Never ever buy Kardiel furniture
I got a set of furniture from kardiel a year ago, in 1 year the whole set looks like we used it at least for 10 years or so, the customer service declined any help saying that the furniture is no longer has a warranty.

I'm a designer so trust when I say to STAY AWAY from this company! Read TrustPilot, Yelp and Reddit reviews. Worst quality and customer service I've ever experienced. I bought 2 swivel chairs. After 18 months, one seat completely snapped off the base tumbling my guest to the floor, the other came with a broken drum base. They won't do anything to fix, replace or refund our money. They care more about the money than their customers or the quality of their brand promise or products

Domus Mastepiece
from the pre selection questions to the while glove delivery of my 114" Domus I am waiting for the Domus 77 in right arm 2 seater to come back. This sofa is listed as medium to soft but it is medium and perfect. The material feels comfortable on the skin and strong enough for a parent with kids. I was looking for something with my special needs son in mind and i can see this lasting a long time. Also purchasing for the first time online and the Kardiel team fantastic even giving me sofa leg recommendation if i wanted extra support which i purchased but now the sofa is here the quality of the sofa and the workmanship i realize i dont need the extra legs. Thanks Kardiel for caring about the customer !

Kardiel will sell you on a “white glove delivery” service, but once they receive the money for this, they wash their hands of any responsibility or accountability for the service because it’s handled by a third party. So they get to make money off the upsell, but will not provide any assistance for it. They don’t even care if the product arrives or not. This is a terrible business practice. Don’t fall for it. I was told by customer service this was just “part of the shipping expense and that I had not paid anything extra” when it is in fact an add on charge for an extra $250. Don’t pay it, do t fall for the same scam, because then no one is held accountable for the delivery of your item

"Eileen Gray" Disappointment
I typically believe you get what you pay for. But I really wanted to be pleasantly surprised in the case of this Eileen Gray knockoff. In my view this table is not worth the time it takes to place an order. I wish I had not purchased this table. I would have paid 2 to 3 times the price I did pay to get a table of decent quality. I can't believe this is a one-off and am surprised at this company's overall review results published on the website. There are dents in the upper table top frame. The bottom frame is "warped" and so the table rocks and the top is not level unless I add 2-3 shims underneath it to stabilize the unit. The post that supports the top section and lets you adjust the height fits so tight into the tube that when it was too low and then adjust up the black paint was all scratched up from the roughness of the inner tube. There are short white inserts at the top of the post tube that are cheesy and show through the glass - these should be black. And finally, there is a white sleeve that rests in the hole in the glass top that aesthetically is too large and should probably be black and is not fully evident in the listing photos. I am writing the company and sending photos of the problems, should be interesting to see how they handle this.

It's been a month since I purchased a couch. During that time I have received 0 updates on shipping status or been contacted by Kardiel or their shipping partner. For reference, I've reached out three times. Twice to the shipping company and once to kardiel who then passed me back off to the shipping company again. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes into January or even later for anything to happen.

I was hesitant to purchase this couch because I wasn’t familiar with Kardiel and it was a risk buying such a big piece online. It was worth it!! This couch is beautiful and comfortable; communication was great throughout and the white glove service made everything so easy. My husband and son also love it and now we all fight over who gets to lie down on the long part. If you’re hesitating, don't, go get it!
