My Wife and I live in the Cayman Islands and we had to import all our furniture. We saw a beautiful black leather sofa on Amazon from Opulent Items. I had some questions regarding sizes and shipping to my freight forwarder. Henry the owner was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. In the end we bought a custom made italian leather sofa. We were given a delivery date and were updated throughout the process. Let me first say that I was a little apprehensive about buying from Opulent Items after I saw one negative review , but luckily I looked on the BBB website and saw that they had many many positive reviews so I decided to buy from them. Henry was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. He answers emails and phone calls very quickly when there is an issue. I bought several items including a bed, chest of drawers and of the large sofa from his website. The items are great, especially the leather couch. I have gotten a ton of compliments about the couch which is in my media room. It fits perfectly and really makes the room. I have had a major issue with the bed which had a damaged part on arrival. Henry has been really great and helpful trying to resolve the issue with the supplier (VIG furniture), who was absolutely a nightmare to deal with. He stayed on top of them and even paid for shipping on the new piece out of his own pocket even though the damage was entirely not his fault. I would most definitely buy from Henry again and I have recommended his website more times than I can count to my friends after they saw my couch.

This was the 1st time I ordered an expensive piece of furniture from online store. I have no problems ordering stuff online, but furnuture - I usually like to see it and deal with local stores. I stumbled on this online store and fell in love with most of stuff they carry. I could not find anything close to the type and design of furinture this store carries in any of the local stores. Also, the prices are pretty good as well. I dealt with Henry over the phone throughout the whole process. He was extremely helpful, professional, friendly and easy to deal with. Answered all my questions and followed up with me throughout the whole process. It does take 8-10 weeks to receive it, but that information is clearly listed on their webside. I received everything as promised and when promised. Henry even split the delivery costs with me because the furnuture needed to go to the 2nd floor. This was offered AFTER we made the deal which shows that Henry puts his customers 1st. Sofa looks like a million dollars in my apartment and I am fully satisfied customer.

My sofa arrived last week, I have the Connie Sectional. The quality is superb. There just nothing like this sofa anywhere in my area. The pictures doesn't do them much justice. When you see them in person, it seems unreal how beautiful they make my whole living space stand out. Henry was so helpful, the sofa arrived exactly at 12 weeks, which is a bit long but within the time frame given. These sofa's are worth the wait and if you want quality, unique and modern, have a some patience and you'll have the sofa of your dreams.

Update: I purchased a full bedroom set and a sectional sofa from Opulent Items at the beginning of July. The bedroom set didn't arrive after 2.5 weeks (expected delivery was 2 weeks) and after several attempts to communicate with Opulent Items I was told that the item was discontinued. They offered links to other stores but I asked for a refund and it was given. The sofa was delivered after 10 weeks (expected delivery of 8 weeks) and the delivery company AM Home Delivery had to be pressured by both myself and the Opulent Items manager in order to deliver by then. They wanted to delay another week. Communication and the stress of not knowing when or if I would receive my expensive purchases is not an ordeal I would want to endure again. That said, we are very happy with the sofa that we did receive, Small Connie Sectional in dark brown and tan. It was a breeze to setup and arrived in good condition. It looks very good in our condo. If you are in love with Opulent Item's selection, then purchase knowing that it could take a long time, and delivery may be a hassle if Opulent Items continues to use AM Home Delivery.

I bought a sectional sofa with chase from Opulent Items in March of 2015. The delivery estimate was nearly spot-on and I received my sofa approximately 10 weeks later (these are manufactured overseas and shipped to a US port). I paid for the white-glove service to have it brought into the house as it was 4 pieces weighing nearly a combined 500 pounds! The construction quality seems tops. The leather (which I upgraded to) also seems good quality, not too thin and the stitching at the seams appears strong. The 4 pieces connect via sturdy metal interlocking brackets. And most important, the sectional is comfortable to sit and lay on. The customer service was good as I received quick replies to my questions. Overall I can't find any fault with the service or the product.

Although it took a week or two longer on delivery due to issues with port strike, but the wait was well worthed. We found Opulent Items online and ordered a sectional L-shaped sofa in white color with orange-red accents. We're very pleased with both the item and also the service. The sofa is large, and can fit 1.5 people lying down on the long part, to give perspective. You'll need to fill in the space with more pillow throws than the two candy-bar shaped ones that comes packaged. Each time we called with questions, they were courteous and patience, explaining in detail until we were satisfied. Since it was a custom item, it took a little longer but they estimated the time well, and called when the sofa was ready to ship. Because of the quality of the item and the careful and patient attitude of its people, I would recommend Opulent Items to a friend and even order another sofa again.

We bought the Toronto Sectional Sofa and it is gorgeous and stylish! The appearance and quality are better than we expected. It is very sturdy and well built. Opulent had fantastic customer service - which is an added bonus!

I was a bit leery of ordering a sofa on line, but I just could not find anything I liked. I spoke with Henry and he answered all of my question and sent a few pictures to help me make my decision. The sofa took 10 weeks to be delivered, but I was told up front that this is a custom sofa and will take time to make. Now that I see the sofa in person, I completely understand the manufacture time, and it is well worth it. My family loves this sofa! I am so completely happy with my purchase.

As all of the reviews indicated about the delivery being long; it didn't matter because the company kept in touch all the way so I didn't mind. It gave me time to prepare and paint for my new home look. Be ready to unpack it. My sofa was well reserved and no way it could have been damaged. I was worried but it delivered un harmed and so nice. This is the best sofa I've ever purchased. I am praying my cats stay off. I was told to go get this stuff from pet smart - I am going right away.
