Excellent chisel and very sharp. I love the handle design and am sorry it’s been discontinued but I am glad I was able to get one before they were gone.

Very impressed with the base and diamond plates. Easy to swap and been very easy to use, they are slightly bigger than standard which helps. Buying and delivery was straightforward.

I have extra durable coarse diamond plate and infused leather strap it is super flat and does a great job , again super quality tools from Zen-Wu.

The Zen Sharp sharpening system is the best I’ve ever used and I’ve used quite a few different sharpening setups. Thank you very much.

After 40 years of trying many systems, I feel this is one of the best systems as well as of good value. The magnetic sharpening base is heavy, solid, & flat resulting in true square edges. The diamond plated sharpening plates are color coded and range from coarse to very fine as well as a medium and impregnated very fine strop. This progression of plates that fit snugly and securely into the base, result in a razor sharp edge, even in my plane with a 55 degree frog producing ultra thin transparent shavings even in hard, figured wood such as bird’s eye maple. The sharpening plates are generously sized and easily accommodate my largest plane blade 2 3/8”. Replacement plates are economical and durable ! My experience with ordering replacement plates as well as their superb and beautiful replacement plane blades has been excellent. I highly recommend both.
