We have a bathtub/shower combination, and these silicone hooks stick quite well to the smooth wall panels. We've used these for many years to hold our shower curtains up away from the sides of the tub while they dry. Occasionally one of our older hooks would slip off. In that case we would gently scrub the back of the hook to make sure there was no gritty residue on it that might keep it from adhering smoothly, wet the back, and stick the hook back up.
