I bought three of these, kept one and gifted the others to close friends. All three of them work perfectly and sleep for a good amount of time. The metal does make a good amount of noise if you accidentally hit it against anything, and even catching it makes soft little noises. It hurts VERY badly if you return the yo-yo sharply while its spinning fast. Despite those two factors, I love this thing. Very happy with my purchase
