The Duncan yoyos were wonderful with quick shipping!

I got the Dark Magic II because it was such a popular yoyo back in the day. I have almost exclusively been throwing it for the past few days because it gives a bit of extra challenge compared to the typical yoyo made in the past 4 or so years. If you are sloppy, it'll tilt, and if you play clean, it'll spin long enough for your combos. Horizontal (with a ctx bearing) is even possible, again, only if you can play clean. It is a special yoyo with a lot of significance to many people and I think every serious player should have one in their collection. Plus, the slim bearing even came lubed, I can imagine why so many people had positive "first good yoyo" experiences with this thing.

The belt holder i wanted said in stock then was informed it was an error, so sent me the duncan belt loop holder and Elastic broke within first week. Do not recommend at all.

Still one of my favorite yoyos... stable, decent spin time, easy to do tricks with...and like the YYJ Classic, is a totally different feel than everyday polycarbonate. I know it's not POM/Delrin, but it's softer than standard poly. And it has a delicious glow than makes me smell lemons. RIP YYJ... I wish the best for its retirees.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I bought my 7 year old son a few yo-yo’s for his birthday coming up and a video. Last night I was playing around with a Duncan butterfly yo-yo we have had around the house and was able to still do an around the world. The second I caught the yo-yo in my hand he wanted it back to try it! Hooked...

Spintastics are always a solid purchase. Turntable 1.0 plays great except, ironically, for finger spins, which it is supposed to be designed for. You have to land smack in the center to pull a decent finger spin. No room for slop. 1.0 desparately needed weight rings, which were incorporated into 2.0, though in a weird way. Otherwise, its a good little throw.

The Perfect Yo-Yo

This may be the best all-around yoyo. The fat rims make it crazy stable, even on slop throws. It will finger spin for eternity thanks to the extra deep cups and low hub, and will land nicely even if the string snags. The wide gap makes for seemless string tricks. This may be the best yoyo I have ever had straight out of the box. Every yoyo has its own personality, some trick it seems designed for, but the Expedition makes everything.....easy. Powder coat buff gives it a good, solid, simple effect. The whole yoyo overall is just solid for all tricks. And with the deep cup, it can even be used as a shot glass in case of emergencies. ; )
