The Aran yarn I ordered is very soft and easy to work with. And machine washable!!

This yarn is soft, have pleasant feel and long color changes. Nice blend, worked well in small items like socks, mitts, etc.

I was impressed with the diversity of the resources. Delivery was prompt. I hope I can visit the store in person.

On my first visit to Woolwinders (from Maine), I found exactly what I wanted for a sweater. There was not enough for my pattern so the lovely woman who was helping me called Rockland. They had the remaining 3 balls I needed. Woolwinders in Annapolis received the yarn and then shipped it to me. I call that great service. The shop was small, but pretty, clean, and well-organized. Now I see that it will be closing on May 29. It will be missed.
