In love with my apex! I travel a lot for work and it's the perfect companion for my carry on. The slide through works perfect and the look is so elegant. I believe the black one specially is perfect for my board and C Suite meetings yet its design balances out looking modern for a trendy touch. Space inside is ideal for work musts and many extras.

I have bought a product from Probadour in 2021 and used it a lot during my business travels. It is versatile and works well with business attire. Now have purchased their bigger bag for travelling with my family. Really liked it as well for a everyday bag as it collects a lot and does not look bulky.

I really like my Troubador apex navy full size backpack. It is comfortable, lightweight, sleek, and it has all the features I wanted. I like the structured outer shell. I feel that I am making a positive contribution to the environment because of the recycled materials. I love the website, the shipping came quickly, and I appreciate a range of color options. I also like the “leather” accents. These are my issues: it does not feel sturdy enough to be worth $250. When it is not full or the items inside are not distributed perfectly, it creates awkward creases and dimples on the outside that detract from the aesthetic. The straps are a little thin. The zippers feel weak (only time will tell). I don’t like the awkward loops that are created when you tighten the straps (for $250, a more innovative solution should be found). I also felt that for the price point, something besides a rain cover should be thrown in—some sort of pouch, laptop sleeve, key ring that fits with the backpack in a unique/custom way, lunch box, etc.

From start to finish, my experience with Troubadour was outstanding. Selection was a joy—the range of designs is so well-curated that it was hard to choose, but the Apex Backpack 3. 0 in Black immediately caught my eye. I recently purchased the Troubadour Apex Backpack 3. 0 in Black, and I couldn’t be more impressed. When the package arrived, it was perfectly packed, with not a single scratch or blemish to be found. I’d recommend it to absolutely everyone… though I must admit, I secretly hope it doesn’t become too popular, so I can keep feeling like I’m in on a well-kept secret.

I was looking for a bag that had good protection for my 16 inch MacBook Pro, while also being durable, confortable and having lots of storage. I got both the Apex Backpack 3. 0 and Apex Sling in the green smoke colorway and they look awesome. They look very well built and you can tell it’s a high quality bag just by looking at it. I don’t use all the hidden pockets but it’s always nice to have options. I was surprised that my 40 oz quencher could fit on the side on my backpack and still feel secure, but I would still choose to carry a smaller bottle. What also surprised me is that a 10. 2 inch iPad can fit in the Apex Sling. Not ideal because it restricts the other pockets, but you can if you ever need to !

The sling is a near-perfect EDC. Three changes would improve it. 1) The name TROUBADOUR appears twice inside the sling and three times on the bag's exterior. The lettering on the front and back of the bag and on the front of the sling is raised plastic. This amount of branding is excessive. Having had bags with this kind of lettering, I know it will fall off with normal use. I would prefer a sling with no exterior band marks. The Troubadour's style tells you who made it. 2) The fabric for the bottle loop inside the sling is too flimsy. It would be easier if it were an elastic band or made of stiffer fabric. 3) I like to wear a sling over my right shoulder, but if I do this with the Troubadour, the side zipper pokect is on the bottom of the bag when I swing it around to the front of myself. The zipper for the main pocket opens in the wrong direction (left to right, meaning the contents of the main compartment will spill out if I swing the bag around to the front of myself to open it). Earlier versions of the sling had two zippers for the main pocket, to mitigate this problem, and I would recommend returning to two zippers. I don't see a quick fix for the side pocket. Thanks for inviting suggestions for improvement. I like the sling a lot, and my wife likes the Apex 3. 0 backpack that I bought for her a few months ago.

Yet another success for Troubador with this larger apex backpack format! Amazing pockets and thoughtful design on the weight. It is a bigger bag but it’s also stylish.

I spent a lot of time researching before I finally bought the Apex bag as my new backpack. I love the sleek design, all of the inner pockets for organization, and the separate laptop pocket. It's hard to fit water bottles into the holders when the bag is stuffed, and it's not quite spacious enough to hold everything I travel with AND a sweatshirt, but I think the new Apex Travel will be good for that. The Apex 3. 0 is a great everyday carry.
