I'm a very particular person. My friends know that I pay attention to details and often try to help businesses do a better job by making suggestions to them directly in order to help them be better. First, it's almost Christmas and ordering a week before the biggest shipping day in the world didn't seem like I was setting them up for success. On shipping, I ordered on Sunday and received the ties on Wed of the same week. Crazy fast. Presentation- I took a video of the packaging bc it is on-point. Not fully Apple but it's a tie and not electronics so fragility and price point don't warrant. The box has a sleeve to hold the contents, multiple pieces of literature to include a "what to wear it with" guide which many, many guys need. It's tie specific. There is a label strap that is a nice touch. (I have some high-end Italian ties that come with a fabric-matched piece of fabric, like a label strap, that attaches to a button. There ties are north of $250). Darkknot is implimenting ways to take it to the next level. The tie itself. As pictured, which is important to me as it's frustrating to get something that you thought was gray and it's actually blue for example. The quality feels great. Not thin feeling or overly thick, like a wool tie can feel. It actually feels slightly weightier than my 7 fold. The detail in the fabric is really precise. Overall I'd give them a 9. 5, as I don't think there are 10's that I woudl want to pay for. For the price it's an 11. I've spend north of $100 for ties that aren't as nice as these are that didn't come anywhere close to the packaging and presentation. I'll definitely be back and spead the word.
