Great knife design and concept. I purchased the Mako/Big Game Skinner combo over two years ago and it has completely changed the way I process animals. The knife design allows for precision handling with an absolute NINJA performance that will be admired by your hunting buddies. The handle configuration minimizes hand/finger fatigue on the biggest jobs and game. The replaceable blades deliver a consistent razor sharp cut with surprising edge retention and durability. On a recent moose hunt, these knives were invaluable in processing two bulls. I ordered the Combo Pack Injection Molded RaptoRazor and Mako. The kit came with an extra set of blades, since RaptoRazor wasn't satisfied with the blades provided in the basic kit and stated they were providing an additional set at no charge (A nice benefit, although I haven't used the extra set of blades yet). The blades are very sharp and the plastic knife guards are a must have. I used the knives on a recent elk hunting trip to New Mexico. I liked the compact nature of the knives and they are really easy to use. The RaptoRazor cut the skin cleanly and the configuration was comfortable to use while removing the skin from the elk. I used the knives on two different animals and didn't have any issues with either of the knives. They clean up easily after the hunt with the takedown feature.

I received knife to late to use this season But will be ready for next year The quality is way above my expectations and the design is awesome Will be back for more
