This "cone" is so far superior to all the others (yes, over the last 4 decades I have tried them all!), it is in a class all by itself. My favorite thing about it is the opening is only about half as wide as a regular cone. I have giant breed dogs and a regular cone is like walking through the house with an open umbrella. This cone has saved the paint in my house and the dog tolerates it extremely well. Highly recommended!!!

Words can’t express how awesome this product has been for us. We had a 130lb Rottweiler that had eye surgery and was making our lives a nightmare with his large cone the vet gave us. Got this mask for my 31 year old Gelding. He’s getting cateracts so he needs the darkness in the daytime to see better. This mask gives plenty of space around his eyes. He’s not hard on his masks but they usually end up with holes from rubbing. So far so good.

We had to buy two different sizes to get one that fit correctly, but it is a great product and is more comfortable than a cone for our blind dog. Customer service was VERY prompt and helpful and checked pictures of our dog in the optivizor to ensure proper fit. Highly recommend the product and company.

My dog uis a bordr collie/ Corgi mix and was in between sizes. I'm glad I chose the small/medium. I used duck tape to shift it back to hold because forehead piece was sliding over eyes a bit.

Even though I followed your instructions on how to measure my dogs head, the size small/medium (22-55 lbs) was a too large for him - a cocker spaniel weighing 27lbs. I had to remove more than the three cutting lines and it did not fit as snug as it should have but it worked well enough for his enucleation surgery. It was so much better than the typical cone that he would have gotten from the vet's office. I did not have enough time to return it for a smaller one. I think the product is wonderful and would recommend it over that cone. My vet absolutely loved it and I gave her the brochure that came with it. My dog didn't seem to mind wearing it all. And after I cut it down, he could eat with it on. He only had to wear it for 5 days and this product was well worth it.

Sooooo much better than the cone. Worth every penny. I took our dog to the vet to have his stitches removed and they took him back to show all the doctors. They wanted to know all about this product. They were very impressed. Took pics to show future pet owners who need the same protection for their dogs. Wonderful product!!

My bullmastiff had entropian eye surgery on both eyes. This product was recommended by the vet. I am extremely happy with it! Great product protecting his eyes while healing! Great alternative to the cone!

I tried this out because my dog can get out of any cone combination I've ever tried. She did manage to get this off the first couple of days, but I followed the instructions for "Houdini dogs" (tape on the notches, tighten the chin strap) and she totally kept it on! She has issues with corneal ulcers and I needed something she would keep on if we decide to go with surgery. This visor is awesome - and she can eat, drink, play, and sleep comfortably!

My baby girl had cataract surgery and she would find ways to rub her eyes with the cone on. I thought that I would end up paying another 5grand to fix the damage. I saw some woman walking a dog with the optivisor and thought to myself... what is that and how can I get one. I started googling and finally found the optivisor and I can’t tell you how effective it is. This little girl is feisty and had been able to get her paw into everything. Not with this though. She hadn’t been able to take it off. She hasn’t been able to get to her eyes. Optivisor literally saved me money. I absolutely recommend this product.

Very well made and the throat latch keeps it secure. I appreciate the extra protection offered by the lining over the eyes.

Fits perfectly; prevents my mini from rubbing his eye which is being treated for fungal infection. He has had this visor on for 6 weeks with no problems at all.

Love love LOVE the recovery visor. My guy’s trigger (uveitis) for eye issues is the cold wind. This mask protects his eyes from that wind! He stays outside 24/7 with a run in and this mask is heavenly. Stays in place and does the job as expected. I also like the fleece lining to prevent sore spots. Will definitely purchase again!!!

Perfect fit for my 15lb terrier mix.

My horse had an eye removed and was confined to inside his shelter for a few weeks. The tinted recovery mask I already had was doing it's job, except at night when it seemed he was having trouble seeing thru it. So I ordered the clear mask on Thursday afternoon and I received it Saturday! It was just what my horse needed. During the day I also put the dark fly mask on him, but at night, with just the clear recovery mask I could tell he was having an easier time navigating in the dark. Well worth it.
