I talked to the people that playedbetter. com and asked some questions about their organization. I was told that it was a small family run business. But they are running it extremely efficiently. The folks were friendly, provided great support, and got the equipment out in a timely manner.

I love this play better golf simulator. The directions were easy to follow and there are lots of YouTube videos available to help with the set up. I set it up on my own in a matter of hours. Of course, I had to buy a gaming, computer, and a couple that with an old black string TV which I hung on my wall for all the shot statistics. I got the smaller unit which was 8 foot wide. I was a little worried that it would be too small, but it’s very immersive. I also upgraded to the Bushnell flight tracker, and to the Optima projector with Keystone adjustment, which I think is a must. I am having a little bit of an issue, keeping the impact screen flat. Tends to warp a bit after a hard shot and distort the image. Of course there’s no permanent damage to the screen, I think I just need to work on the tensioning. I wish I did not have to buy the FS play software, before upgrading to the GS pro software. I hate the fact that FS play only has 25 courses, and his lower resolution than the GS pro software. What I really hate is the fact that I need to dismiss the ball flight data between each shot. For me that’s 80+ clicks per round! With a S pro software I get access to 1700 high resolution courses and it automatically advances from one hole to the next. I shouldn’t have to pay a yearly prescription for FS play if I’m only gonna use GS pro. All in all, I give this system five stars. The price was right, the set up was easy, I didn’t need to pay a professional to come in, it is relative reportable, so I can move it to a different room if I want, and I will definitely get many many many years of pleasure out of this simulator. I highly recommend it.

The device I purchased ended up being backorder and when it arrived it didn’t function properly. Through the backorder process PlayBetter was very responsive and kept me up to date on the status and timeline of delivery. The package was packed well and shipped fast when it became available. Even more impressive was the customer support provided when I reported that the device did not function correctly. PlayBetter reps were extremely responsive and unbelievably helpful. Truly hassle free return process, just as advertised.
