I have been on the lone ranger track since Dec 16 ever since my wife told me that 'her love for me has changed and that the reason she was depressed was because of me'. when I was told this it felt like I had been run over by a train and I felt every emotion but the strongest emotion was sadness that the lady I married was sat in front of me broken and crying , I had let her down. I didn't know what to do for the next few weeks , I was in emotional limbo , the future for me and our 3 young boys and the sadness of my wife occupied every second of my day. I decided to sign up to marriage fitness after receiving the daily emails from Mort , what can I say - the programme has put me on a path and has shown me and educated me about my damaging impulses, feelings and reactions that have been detrimental to both myself and my marriage. I have a focus now that has helped me close the door to my negative feelings and work on my future. without marriage fitness I am 100% certain I would have cracked up by now - don't get me wrong I still have a long way to go but I am starting to see positive reactions in my marriage - I can see in my wife's thoughts that she is asking herself ' who is this new man?' The programme has highlighted how much I took both my wife and my marriage for granted , this fact makes me both ashamed and happy , happy because through the programme, I know it is making me a better man and already I have seen how putting my feelings to one side and not reacting to them like I once use to is making me feel positive.

My world became dark last summer. I did something that hurt our marriage. We were going to try and work through it. I tried counseling and couldn't get my husband to join me so I continued on alone. I believe it made my situation worse. I feel the counselor did absolutely nothing but agree with everything I said. I did all the wrong things to try to save our marriage. A few months ago my husband decided to go ahead and file for divorce. I was devastated. I begged, pleaded, yelled...basically did everything to drive him even further away. I came across Mort online. I decided to sign up for emails to see what advice he had to offer. His emails made sense. My world started looking brighter. I ordered the audio DVDs next. I've used his approach the past few months and noticed a big difference in our relationship. It gives me hope. He has finally agreed to counseling. I've sent him information on Mort's boot camp hoping he will consider this option. I have a lot of faith that it will help us. Thanks Mort for helping me through a very painful time in my life.

I really like everything I have read! I bet you have great ideas. I do not have a credit card. Whenever we need to buy something online we borrow my mother in laws card. So if I can ever talk my husband into getting a credit card, I think I would order it.
