The lights were good and came with batteries which was nice. But the light is not that bright. I wanted to use them in a closet, they were good but not as bright as I would have liked.

Several months ago we purchased the same lamps but with CFL's bulbs to illuminate a shopping center walkway. The light is bright and nice, we can't complaint. A few weeks ago we purchased this LED lamp to light up the walkway of other shopping center (we purchased just one to try) and the difference is impressive. The light of the LED lamp is way brighter than the CFL and whiter. We should have purchased LED's instead of the CFLs, but that is history. The construction of both is exactly the same, aluminum with a poly-carbonate lens. It closes tight and has a seal to avoid insects or water going inside the lamp. Easy to install. Great product.
