I liked that there was an option for online classes.. especially for those who have family to take care of.

This is a great college. I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to move forward in life with a career. I've learned so much by attending HMC. All the teachers/ staff are a very great big help to us all. We wouldn't be able to do it without you folks. I recommend this college for anyone seeking in health care. You won't regret having a new life and being able to care for others. It's a lifetime of support from HMC and I can't wait to further in my career. Thank you so much Hawaii Medical College.

Attending Hawaii Medical College was one of the best experiences I had. I never thought I'd make it this far in this program, but thanks to the support of my instructors & family members. I made it all the way through. I want to thank my instructors for teaching me what I know now. Every instructor I had was the best. I also want to thank HMC staff for always being there to help when I needed it. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to proceed in this profession.

This is my great experience studying in here. My instructor is the best! She teaches us and help us if we are having a hard time. People who are working in there are very helpful especially when it come to employment. They will give you informations on how to start it and assist you. Overall, I enjoy studying here and I learned a lot of things especially to my program.

Quality instructors, Convenient location, next to a mall, Friendly and helpful staff There is a parking structure available, but it's not free. Students can get a validation and pay a fee. The courses were engaging and intensive. Wish there were more classrooms for access. Overall, I had a positive experience.

I started at HMC in 2016 and did not complete my Medical Assistant Program until a few years later. During my time there I took a few breaks because of family, work and at one point I decided I just did not want to do it anymore. The staff who I kept in contact with since my enrollment have been so wonderful to me. One member for sure who I would love to mention is Cheryl. She has dealt with me through my ups and downs during my program, she was always there for me and i felt that she Truly wanted to see me succeed. Now, as far as courses go, I had no issues with the materials given or how things were taught. Clinicals are required and let me tell you what a great feeling it is when you're finally there! It makes you want to keep pushing to the end. The instructors that I had during my time there were so awesome. My Favorites were definitely Shelley and Ron. I know most would say that they are strict but honestly I have learned so much from the both of them, things that I have been able to apply at my current job (Pali Momi Vascular Surgery) Externship, yes, this can be very difficult to complete especially if you are currently working and I know a lot of us have families to take care of, but this does go by pretty quickly ( well for me it did) it helps to have support not just with this part but throughout the entire program. Overall I really enjoyed my time here, meeting new people and being able to learn along side one another. The staff almost felt like family. I had a very good experience with HMC!

The school offers plenty of opportunities for personal and occupational growth. The staff offers just the right amount of dedicated discipline and mentorship for the students to get their heads out of their asses and to get the work done. Without it, I probably never would've gotten my shit together to graduate. This school is definitely worth attending for those who want another direction within their season of life. .

Great school,incredibly involved teachers and help finding work in the medical field. If you plan on living in hawaii for the next 5 years at least after graduating then it's great. If you're looking for al school to start then continue after not so great

The admission counselor is awesome! Lynette was so patience to answer all my question and very accommodating. My FA advisor Michell is attentive and help with your Financial advise. Overall I'm very impressed with everyone here. I'm excited for my class.

Love this school!! Graduated in 2012 and have never regretted choosing them. Highly recommended if you want a great school that's willing to help in every aspect of your life, not only with school but if you have personal issues they're there for you every step of the way! Thank you so much!

Came to HMC because I was thinking of furthering my education in the medical field. I met with Nida O and she was extremely friendly and informative. I love how professional she was. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. She was even able to map out a plan on steps to take to get started. She took the time to make sure I fully understood everything before making a decision. I was very please with my meeting with her and look forward to speaking to her again.

When in the MA program you leave the school with (if you pass the Exams; WHICH I DID) Certification of Medical Assistant, Certification of Phlebotomy Technician, Certification of EKG Technician. You also receive an CPR Card and a OSHA Card. I'm now an MA at Straub Medical Center. And the only regret I have about this school is that credits are not transferrable, I want to continue my schooling to become an RN but none of my credits can be transferred so just an FYI. Otherwise program is fast and to the T.

Hawaii medical college is a great place because it gave me a lot of growth through the medical coding and billing. Thank you!

I had a very interesting interaction with this place. I talked to Nida Ortega at Hawaii Medical College about how and where I should look for a summer internship to help with my career path and within a few days, she was able to set up a flexible internship with Orthopedic Associates. I was able to follow orthopedic surgeons throughout their medical offices and learned a lot about what they do and also about what I want to do with my career in the future. Thanks to Nida and Hawaii Medical College, I am now more motivated to pursue my career in the medical field.
