purchased this product at Safeway and was shocked to find out that it contains maltitol, even though the ingredient was not listed on the label. After eating it, I became extremely sick and even had to miss work. When I contacted the company, their response was dismissive. They admitted maltitol is in the product, said it was just an “adverse reaction,” and essentially wished me good luck. That is completely unacceptable. Consumers deserve to know exactly what’s in the food they are buying—especially ingredients like maltitol, which are known to cause issues for many people. Mislabeling or omitting ingredients is misleading and dangerous. I will not be purchasing this product again and strongly caution others before trying it.
