The best cooler out their, just rite size for lunch or a six pack and it don’t feel like a boat anchor when carrying it. Plead to Engel engineering it needs to be about an inch taller so you can stand your long necks up, I’m a lone star man anyways you definitely now were your at when you see Engel coolers!

The shopping experience, delivery, customer service, and overall satisfaction were all very good. I have had time to try it out in refrigerator mode and it seems to be operating correctly. My only comment is that owners manual could have been a little more complete in terms of specifications. More specifically: How many volts can the electronics tolerate while the battery is being charged? I have a battery charger that puts out 14.4 volts and a solar controller that puts out 14.4 volts. The solar controller can be set to put out 16.2 volts but I do not plan on setting it to do this. Is there any problem with the 14.4 volts? I also have a MT-27F-U1 that has run continuously for 2-3 years trouble free both in the refrigerator mode or freezer mode. teh223@aol.com

I'm in the process of remodeling a truck camper and removed the existing 3 way Dometic refrigerator and replaced it with an MT27F. Shipping was fast and it arrived undamaged. Minor assembly of the handles and optional feet was required but not difficult. I have it running in my office keeping some ice packs frozen for the next trip.

I own two Engel coolers. My first purchase was their bait cooler. It’s the best investment I made for fishing in years. I never lose any minnows due to the heat of the summer. Matter of fact, I liked it so much that this year I invested in a dry box cooler to keep my drinks cold. No disappointment here either. It does the job as expected.

I bought one 3 years ago and my new husband kept stealing it so I bought him and my father one for Fathers day and I bought myself a new one now I have 2 hahaha
