Immediate Relief
I have struggled with discomfort from my ingrown toenail for years. I’d considered seeing a podiatrist and having it surgically fixed, but then I found CurveCorrect and I’m so glad I did. Not even 24 hours after putting on my first brace, I felt immediate relief. I’ve only been wearing it for about a month, but already there’s a noticeable difference in the curvature of my nail and I’m excited to see permanent correction as it grows. The kit is really nice, comes with everything you need, and is well-priced in my opinion. Following the provided instructions, I had no trouble applying the brace and got it to cure perfectly on the first go. I have yet to notice peeling or snagging, but if it lasts as long as they say, I’ll be impressed. Highly recommend!

3 week Review
Easy to put on. Has been 3 weeks and still looks sturdy. Have been playing golf and my toe has not irritated me. So far so good.

Reaction to the glue, blood spots under the nails
The application of the strips on both big toe nails was successful at the first attempt. I felt pain on the inside and outside where the strips were glued to the nails for one day. The next day it was okay. The right strip got off on the outside of the nail after 3 days and the left strip felt off at the fifth night. I recognized on both nails bruises, little blood spots under the nails, where the strips were glued to the nails. That explained the pain that I felt after I glued the strips to the nails. Because of the reaction to the glue I didn't renew the strips. I really hoped that this would be the solution for my ingrown toenails but I am too scared to use the glue again on my nails.

Great adhesive
As long as the correct amount of adhesive is applied, the braces stay on my toenails until I'm ready for new ones.

Too soon to know for sure
I decided to give this product a try as I’ve had ingrown but uninfected toenails since I was a kid, they’re pretty curved on the outside edge. The glue isn’t as hard as other reviews make it seem, if you have any experience using superglue you’ll be fine. A few days after putting them on I did feel a lot of relief. However, about two-three weeks in my nails got really sensitive to where walking was uncomfortable. They’ve since gone back to feeling okay, but I suspect the journey to uncurved nails won’t be very smooth for me. I haven’t noticed any visible change in shape yet, though it’s only been around a month so I’m remaining patient. However, I might start doubling up on the strips to try and speed things up a little. I would recommend trying this product to anyone who’s fed up with their toenails, but keep in mind it takes a while and might not end up working for you.

Amazing

It works. Wish I'd done it sooner!
I’ve been struggling with my L big toenail for years as it wants to curve into my skin, and seems to be narrowing. Even with shoes on, the weight of my dog stepping on my foot (or my toddler) causes excruciating pain. I checked with my podiatrist, who suggested a surgical fix that sounded more painful than I cared to try. And all he’d be doing is narrowing the toenail permanently. It’s already so narrow, it looks funny. So after doing a bit of research, I found Curve Correct—but balked at the price. I tried some off-brand strips, but couldn’t get them to stay on as they were too stiff. In checking with CC, I discovered that they sell strips at different tensions, and with my high curvature, I needed a step below the “normal” tension strip. It took me 2 tries to get one side to stick. (They are serious about too much glue. It won’t stick. If you put the correct amount on, the glue will be almost flat. If you see a drop shape of glue, touch it with the edge of a paper towel to soak up the excess. Also, make sure you prep the nail as instructed. ) Because my curve was so severe, I had to put the strip farther down (about the halfway mark). I didn’t think I’d notice relief right away, but I did. After a couple of weeks, I then added a second strip between the top of my nail and where the first strip is glued. So two strips. While I can’t really tell if the nail curve is actually lessening, or if it’s an optical illusion due to the strips glued on it, I know the pain is gone. I plan to order the refill strips the next step up, and when these two fall off, will up the tension, aiming to correct the curve as it grows. All that being said, I have some tips. The corners of those little plastic tips are sharp, and some reviews mention them catching on clothing and sheets, causing them to pop off. I used my toe nail clipper to cut off and round the corners, then used a metal nail file and sanded the now rounded ends until they were smooth, and there were no sharp edges to s...

Works with some effort
It can be difficult to glue the strips on. You need the exact amount of glue, which can be challenging and it needs to be placed just right. However, once on, they stay for a few weeks. I use these all winter so my toenails are improved in time for summer. Then I skip it for the summer months and resume the next winter. This way I can keep my curved toenails under control.

These little bands really work!
I have had problems with ingrown toenails for years. A couple of years ago I found Curve Correct on Amazon and gave it a try. It totally works! The pain in my toes goes away almost immediately the band is glued on. When applied properly (follow directions carefully) they hold for over a month depending on how fast your toenails grow. A bit pricey but a lot of thought went into assembling the kits.

Amazing Product with IMMEDIATE RELIEF!
This is an amazing product! The application can be a bit tricky, but the tips on the website and FAQs helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. Once I did it correctly, I felt immediate relief. I will forever be a customer of this amazing product and have recommended it to multiple family members.

Works great if applying correctly.
I usually write reviews only if the feedbacks are negative or greatly positive. I want to share my honest feedback to empower other people to make informed decisions. I bought these for my mom since she suffers from pincer toe nails. Her past days of wearing high heels, bad pedicure practices and probably her age caused the condition to get worse. Despite keeping those toenails trimmed short and straight, at one point she couldn’t walk without pain. I was a former cosmetologist and am currently a nurse practitioner who has performed ingrown toe nail removal surgeries in my primary care days which I recommended her to do. She adamantly refused to have partial ingrown toenails surgery (wedge excision) due to the aesthetic. Therefore, I have looked into many other options including Onyfix. I decided to try Curve Correct due to the cost, accessibility, ease to apply, and its mechanism. I was still very skeptical and did not have high hope at all. The result - after just a few days, her 2 big toenails are “flatter”. She is into 3 week at the time of this review and the result is phenomenal. It is still too early to tell the long term result. However, we are extremely happy that her nails shape are much less curve and she is pain free. The first 48 hours was a bit uncomfortable for her due to the standard strength put more forces on her curve nails (you can reduce this discomfort by choosing a lower strength). Please give this a try and make sure to follow the instructions on how to apply.

I can't get the brace to stick
I have tried twice each for two different toenails (so, four times) and every time, the brace I adhered to one side comes off when I adhere it to the other side. I am so disappointed because I was hopeful this would help but I can't get the braces to stay on. I followed the directions: no nail polish of any sort, I filed the top of the nail with a filer, I used the cleaning agent, all that. Nothing.

It works!!
This is for my wife, it really works for her and she has been using them for years. She just wish there was more strips in an order and that you had it would be easier to adjust as I loose strips when cutting the wrong length… works well but hard to adjust to the right size.

Worth a try
My only issue with these is that I have a hard time getting them to stay on. . . I suffered with ingrown toenails as a teenager, to the point I had to have surgery. My teenage daughter is now suffering from ingrown toenails and in an attempt to avoid surgery for her, I came across Curve Correct. Initially I ordered the . 16 gauge strips, since she has adult sized feet, but they were not staying glued to the toenail. I will say customer service is fantastic as they advised she needs the . 007 gauge and sent me a set free of charge. I was able to get the new strip to stay on for close to 3 weeks and during that time the transformation on her toenail was amazing. I advised her this is a long term thing and we need to keep a strip on for many months. Well, the strip fell off and she didn't tell me because the toenail no longer hurt. Awhile later the pain returned and now I cannot get a strip to stay on longer than a couple of days (sometimes it will come off after a couple of hours). I know support will say I need new glue, but that is a bit ridiculous. I am going through glue and strips like crazy (even ordered a refill) and they are very expensive. The glue should last over a year since each strip is supposed to be good for a few weeks, but apparently that isn't the case. So this can work but for us the strips won't stay on. Your mileage may vary, but as someone who suffered from ingrown nails the initial cost is worth trying if it will work for you.

Very Hopeful. . .
I have lost 2-3 bands trying to get them set. I am currently wearing one in hopes it stays in place. This is a super product idea and I hope it will work for me.

Game changer!
AMAZING! I have lived with constant pain in the inside corners of both big toes forever. And in 3 days…gone. I’m sticking with it.

Fast relief
This provides relief within 24 hrs. It is a little fiddly/takes some fine motor skills and patience to correctly apply. However, the result is 10,000% worth it!!! The little plastic strip stays in place for months, and after it grows out to the edge or falls off, I have found the correction of my curved nail lasts 3-4 months before I notice the nail starting to curve again and need to place another strip.

Great product
I purchased the entire set last year. I wore the braces for a little over 6 months while my toenails grew out. I was able to go all spring and summer without the braces. My toenails started curving in again and I knew it was time to start wearing the braces again, so I purchased the braces and a new bottle of adhesive. I've been wearing them again for a month and my nails are flat again. I'll continue to wear them until the entire nail grows out again. I know the product will work because I've seen it for myself.
