Easy to use

Definitely a good starting point for someone new to the bidding world in skilled trades. I enjoy using it. The more you use it, the easier it gets.

As a real estate apprasier, I have benefitted from being a customer of Craftsman-Book for a very long time, even when it used to be a free service. Their customer service has always been "5 Star" which I appreciate. I am quickly able to create an accurate Cost Approach analysis, which I can easily include within an appraisal assignment. I will gladly continue to be a loyal customer of Craftsman-Book.

Works well. Easy to navigate.

I am an appraiser and I use craftsman-book. com's site to help create a credible report along with other analyses especially a paired data analysis when rendering a sq ft cost to replace a home. It truly helps keep my data realistic for my area. the report is usually within 5%+/- of my analysis. I also keep a record in my workfile if ever needed to view again.

I use their cost books, estimate cloud, and contract writer religiously. I love them!

I've use Craftsman for years and am completely satisfied with the product and especially the customer service.

Won't import . est files. Couldn't reach customer support to discuss. Works ok for new work. Also I want to be able to print estimate without individual pricing and without my markups.

The cost estimate was extremely undervalue for a luxury new construction home in my market...to the tune of millions of dollars. At least I could use a test run on craftsman to demonstrate to my client that outside cost manuals don't apply and using numbers from local contractors is more reliable

It is a great tool to develop replacement cost new (RCN). It allows to use different quality scenarios. In addition, it is very helpful with luxury and manufactured homes.

The craftsman estimate is easy to use and accurate in most cases. A good double check on the builders estimates. Easy to include in your appraisal report for a detailed cost.

Have been using this tool now for a few months… once I got the hang of it… the results seem to support most reports

Craftsman offers a wide variety of information on various fields of construction. The information is reliable, and timely. It is a great source of information for companies to compare their prices or obtain information on areas of uncertainty.

would love if the software can prompt things i may have forgot to add. for example, if im framing a bedroom extension ask if drywall is needed, trim, flooring etc. I think if the user interface can make it dummy proof where an average DIYer can also use it to maybe do there own estimate on their own projects.
