Very happy with our trip. Only changes I would recommend would be a different hotel in Lubin and caterers to vary more from night to night and get fresh bread. Loved Alon and Fara and even the security guards

Amazing Experience
What an unforgettable experience—truly beyond words. To share in such a momentous and deeply emotional journey with so many wonderful people was nothing short of life-changing. Although our group faced a few unexpected bumps along the way, the staff managed everything with grace and professionalism, ensuring we felt supported throughout. The powerful combination of visiting concentration camps, exploring Jewish quarters and ghettos, and walking through Jewish museums created a profoundly moving and eye-opening experience. As a Jew, I believe—wholeheartedly—that this is something everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime. It is not just history; it is a testament to resilience, memory, and the importance of never forgetting.

A perfect mix of service and solidarity
This adult week-long trip to Israel was the most meaningful experience we could have had. The volunteer work was very impactful and the visits to Nova, Hostage Square, and Brothers for Life were extremely touching. I definitely recommend this experience and will consider future trips with Authentic Israel.

Such a wonderful and meaningful
Such a wonderful and meaningful experience. We were in one day transformed from a group of strangers to best buds doing meaningful volunteer work, standing up and being counted during these difficult times.

Every Jewish person should experience this trip to Poland at some time in their life. Singing Hatikva and the mourner’s prayer at Birkenau, marching with thousands of Jews from all over the world, seeing Krakow and attending services in Warsaw were inspiring and unforgettable experiences, made even better by an incredible tour guide - Alon.

The insights I acquired along with a sense of purpose and pride have more than fulfilled my need to help my people who are assuring the survival of Israel. My group formed strong bonds of friendship and I know we will continue to to help Israel in any way we can. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

Loved our trip to Poland
Loved our trip to Poland for March of the Living. Our staff, Alan and Fara, were fantastic. ORGANIZATION (Fara) Each day was extremely ORGANIZED -- we stuck to the schedule and had no hiccups or delays whatever. Really remarkable considering all the moving parts and different regions of the country visited. Excellent logistics and time management. FOOD I LOVED LOVED LOVED the food -- I'm a very healthy eater and want lots of protein, vegetables and fruit. Every evening meal had multiple protein options including salmon, chicken, brisket, etc. The boxed lunches were also good- I appreciated having a grilled chicken salad and fresh fruit each day (rather than a sandwich). GUIDES (Alan) Alan was an EXCELLENT tour guide. He has the unique ability to personalize stories to help participants relate to each unique circumstance. He posed thought-provoking questions that challenged us to think differently about various scenarios. Also, loved that he waited until our very last tour, at Treblinka, to share his own deeply personal and tragic story about the death of his grandfather's entire family - so powerful and meaningful to learn his intimate connection to the Holocaust. Truly enriched the experience even more once he shared his story. LODGING/TRANSPORTATION All three hotels throughout our journey were wonderful. Very comfortable quiet rooms and excellent amenities. The bus was also very comfortable and spacious, always stocked with plenty of extra water bottles. GROUP 2 I believe we hit the Group jackpot, in terms of the other people in our group. Everyone was very respectful and kind - no drama or high-maintenance situations. I realize Authentic Israel has no control over this aspect of the trip - but couldn't resist mentioning that we had wonderful people with whom to share the meaningful experience. Both Alan and Fara were very personable and approachable for questions throughout the entire journey. So grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Sideno...

From the moment I registered for this journey, I was well taken care of by Toby Ayash. I am grateful that I registered with this group - March of the Living - Authentic Israel. Being a senior citizen, it was important to me to be assisted. I did try not to be too naggy! Our bus no. 1 were a lovely and friendly group of mostly Americans. Our guide Gadi was a knowledgeable, patient and friendly guy. I had flown from Israel to join the group in Krakow. Even though I left the group after the March and returned to Krakow, Toby and Gadi ensured that I could join another bus who were returning to Krakow. I would highly recommend travelling with Authentic Israel. עם ישרשל חי!

The work was meaningful and SO APPRECIATED by the Israeli hosts! The group of volunteers really enjoyed each other, our guide, our driver. We developed a strong bond that keeps us communicating with each other even though our Israel experience is over.

This trip is a must
This trip is a must for all Jews and non-Jews alike. Authentic Israel does an incredible job, everything was well organized and planned. Our tour guide, Dima, was exceptional. I had wanted to do this trip for some time, and I'm glad I finally got my act together to do it. Sadly there won't be survivors around for much longer, so I would highly encourage anyone to take the trip sooner than later.

It was a great experience.
It was a great experience. The leader of the group, Nitzan, was phenomenal. By weeks end we not only felt a sense of accomplishment but became family. Recommend the program to all.

My 2nd volunteer experience with
My 2nd volunteer experience with Authentic Israel was every bit as incredible and impressive as the first (May 2024 and March 2025). I wasn’t sure if the 2nd trip would live up to the 1st one, but it did. Both trips were transformational. The guides (1st with Barak and Cat, and 2nd with Alon) were awesome – I couldn’t have asked for or even imagined more experienced, knowledgeable, and personable leaders. Even the groups were wonderful – all lovely people. Meeting an Oct. 7 IDF 1st responder and a Nova Festival survivor was both awe-inspiring and heartbreaking. Each trip was unique with only a few repetitions – one volunteer place and the Nova/Gaza envelope sites. The repetitions were totally worthwhile. I would recommend Authentic Israel’s volunteer program to anyone interested in helping Israel and also interested in having a remarkable and memorable experience. I am hoping to be able to go on a 3rd trip with Authentic Israel.
