excellent company, badly let down by their choice of courier parcelforce 48. my parcel was sent in error to wrong depot, was re routed. ordered 11th aug didn't arrive until 18th aug. also given the wrong tracking number.

I've had the guitar (the red paisley relic 'Strat') for a few weeks (BTW; excellent buyer support & feedback from Artist whilst awaiting the delivery . . with anticipation); I finally got around to setting up the guitar to my preferences a couple of days ago . . hence this review now. Upon delivery & unboxing, I was well impressed & pleased with the quality of the relic’ing. The paisley layer has been realistically removed in the various wear locations on the body exposing the wood underneath – the body is coated with apparently nitro finish so it will be interesting to seeing how it ages going forward. Even the fretboard surface has had some minor relic’ing done to it with added finger/string wear marks (that I only noticed after I removed the strings). All in all, I’m extremely please with the look of this guitar (my 1st relic – I never though it would happen!!) Played it live for the 1st time last night at a hot & sweaty pub-gig – it performed admirably . . tuning perfectly stable even with the trem being used throughout the night. . . & the heat in the pub . . VERY HOT!! It sounded GREAT! I’ve been playing it at home since it was delivered (over a month ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise). It arrived with what felt like 10s on it whereas I prefer 9s so I couldn’t fully appreciate how nice it actually feels to play until I changed to 9’s during setting it up: i. e. - Remove the 10s - Remove the scratch-plate and then the plastic film from the scratch-plate & trem cover (a bit of a pain to be honest!! But it does keep the scratch-plate as new prior to delivery). I always add a treble bleed to my guitars; this was no exception: I soldered in my usual 200pf (during which I was well impressed by the quality of the wiring & the fact that the cavities were all shielded with copper tape!! . . . brilliant hidden extra from Artist) - Put on a new set of 9s (the locking tuners work perfectly & greatly speed up the string change; also roller string trees are...
