Superbly packed. Don't worry about packing if you want to order from this company. Everything was very well-packed and there was more than enough dry ice included. Just the packing alone reveals the quality of this company!

My wife and I have been ordering beef online for a while because we believe strongly in grass fed grass finished and the benefits that come with it. We decided to try white oak out this time around, our first time placing an order with them. The quality of the beef was night and day as soon as we opened the box compared to what we were ordering from other companies that supplied beef from Australia and new Zealand. We are so impressed with the the rib eyes from white oak!

Delivery was quick, and meat is always great. I do have one hitch, though. The packaging needs some work. Every other package leaks in the fridge when thawing.

We booked a 2 day stay at Pin Oak house with some friends. It was clean and met all our needs. The staff was amazing from check-in to service in the restaurant to answering our questions about the operations of the farm. The horseback ride was a great experience. Looking forward to a return visit.

Many years ago I stumbled upon White Oak Pastures General Store during a trip home to Atlanta. I'd forgotten about it since, until recently coming upon it again. A strong sense of deja vû overcame me this visit, and I'm glad we suppressed in four a visit. I am enamored with the history and story of this multi-generation family and their farm and what they've done for their community. The store itself takes one back in time to simpler days, when people were altogether good and helpful, and community members supported one another. The restaurant makes a mouth water before ever getting served; scents from it linger in the air, taunting you, teasing your taste buds. The meats they sell are like those my Grandpa bought from the local butcher shop - clean is the best word I can think of, but other adjectives like delicious and tender and worthy come to mind too. The story though. . . it's the book that caught my eye, written by Will Harris himself, telling how he took a chance and changed how his farm was being run such that respect is now given to the animals he raises for meat. Temple Grandin once said that we raise animals to feed us, so we need to treat them with dignity and respect. I believe Will Harris and his family has accomplished this magnificently. I'm nearly done with the book, and can say without a doubt it has been the most insightful, interesting and meaningful read I've enjoyed in many a year.

I love White Oak Pastures and their meat. My only complaint is I never know when my order will arrive. It's always a surprise. Even though they have my phone number and my email, I never get updates. Very frustrating
