This is my second order. Thus far have shared with daughters to use. Initially after each flush I would "drop one" to be ready for next seating - if you will. Yes it keeps an ongoing fresh scent. Of course, when I went to reorder and specific product was sold out - that slowed my after each flush. . . lol
