I LOVE this color and balm. It is almost matte when it goes on and has a slight drag on the first layer. But, I love adding more layers because it goes on so smoothly. It is EASY to control the intensity by layering it. I really think this is a lipstick that is not yet a classic but should be. Like those people you know that are so talented but it’s hidden because they’re just too good to fit in. It is the gentlest, most beautiful, and ripened red. Just add this to your collection. You won’t be disappointed.

I've ordered a few lip products from Violette, I've enjoyed them all, but I wanted something less saturated and could be an every day lip color. I've been looking for a lip product that would enhance my natural lip color and be hydrating. This was my first lip stain product and I absolutely love it. I'm able to either reapply or use just lip balm on top but still have color. I normally just wear lip balm and very particular with how my lips feel. The Lip Nectar is super comfortable to wear, not drying, the product stays and the stain is a perfect amount of subtle staining color. Semi-gloss,not super duper shiny. Also I'd like to add since this is my first lip staining product, I was worried that applying more throughout the day would continue to make my lips darker, but it never did! I look forward to trying out other colors!

I received a blush ambre rouge with a broken case and first had to deal with AI which was frustrating and not helpful. I provided pictures But once I communicated with a real person a new blush was sent. Shipping is a little slow. It was another 7-10 days on top of the initial 7-10 days. Made me wish I had bought it at Sephora. But it was finally handled
