The Mike Terrana signature stick is about as close to being perfect as one could hope. It is perfectly balanced, which to be in essentially the most important design element of any stick. The length is ideal, just a bit over a standard 5A at 16. 25, it still feels very quick while simultaneously having a powerful throw. The diameter is perfect, . 560, sitting right in the sweetest of spots and making the stick uber-versatile and great for any genre. Cymbals sounds from the small barrel tip brought out a lovely “knock” on my ride cymbal and let me control the wash and overall volume quite easily. After many many years playing dozens of different models, I feel like I have found my stick.

Love the new Freestyle 5A sticks so far. The extra length works well. I’m 78 and still rockin’ VICS never let me down.
