Nice kits even for their age, The overall build went pretty smoothly, with only a few minor notes: Firstly there is a piece for the driver view slot which is separate to the hull and requires gluing; my only issue is why? this is so small that it could have bee part of the hull casting, there is no need for it be a separate part. Secondly there are 2 hatches to be glued to the side of the hull, like the vision slit these could also have been cast as part of the hull, I can only assume that the reason they're separate is to be able to have them in the open position, but this would mean detailing the interior of the hull, but as there is no detail this would have to be scratch built by the modeller and at this scale I can't see anyone wanting to do that. The alignment of the axles was tricky as each of the 8 axles is individual and lining them up so the model sits on all 8 tyres was a a headache. I can suggest a simpler method that would lesson this problem: have each opposing pair cast as 1 piece with a rectangular section joining them that then slots into a reciprocating slot in the underside of the hull. Finally the attachment fg the gun shield is open to interpretation as there are no locating points on the barrel of the gun shield. These are only minor issues and overall the kits were a joy to build and I would happily build more. These kits are ideal for war gaming and therefore don't need a lot of parts, the fewer the parts the quicker the build and sooner to the table. The easier these are to build the more inclined a gamer is to buy more to fill out their table top forces.
