Really love our playmat and so impressed with the quality, shipping and service. Two small things, EU shipping costs with multiple mats in one order are prohibitive. It's interesting because when I raised this I was told it was due to weights etc, but haven't come across pricing like that before. Secondly, the mat seems to leave a plasticky smell on our daughters hair after she has a good play session on it. Hoping this is just an element of off gassing but just to flag as it's something that did surprise me.

We love the Portabello XL mat we bought. It's beautiful, comfy and easy to clean. We grandparents are now down on the floor with the babies. Our dog has not done any damage despite playing ball with the babies on it. We highly recommend these mats. I do wish there was more of a selection in this size (or even slightly larger, maybe 12 more inches vertically and horizontally). I also wish it was easier to understand the actual colors of the mats from the website - the colors look different in different pictures.

I'm the grandmother of a 14 month old with another grandchild expected next month and we've tried to make our home baby and toddler friendly. At the same time, along with my children, we have tried to be very thoughtful about sustainability and have tried to avoid baby industry overconsumption. I ordered two mats initially - one for my daughter's living room and one for our playroom and they arrived promptly and were exactly what we each needed: my daughter needed a wipeable mat that was attractive to go on top of their living room rug and I wanted a larger mat to cover the whole playroom floor in our house to be more comfortable than the scratchy wool rug we had there and also to be safer for all the falls involved in learning to walk. We were both so delighted that I ordered a third one for our large kitchen's tile floor to create an attractive, wipeable, safer and warmer corner for kids. I'll be offering one to my son's family once their baby arrives (and this will be my staple gift for new parents going forward).
