Replacement Festool Battery
I called ToolNut for a replacement battery for my Festool C12 drill, and was sent the wrong battery. Okay, mistakes happen. However, after notifying ToolNut of the error, they told me they would send me the correct battery only after they received the incorrect battery back from me first. I can understand this policy to some degree, although it is not a "customer centric" point of view, especially when this problem was ToolNut's error in the first place. I was told that I would be sent a return label, and when they received the battery they originally sent to me, they would then send me the correct battery. My conversation with ToolNut took place on a Friday...no return label was sent until 4 days later, late on the following Monday. I did not get the correct battery until the next Thursday, a week after my phone conversation. I think that when ToolNut makes a mistake, they should make an exception to their return policy. Needless to say I will think about making any future purchases.
