Boots are pretty good could use better options for replacement insoles

I have a $280 pair of Tony Lama’s that I purchased to gift and they can’t even be worn due to defective insoles that are wrinkled in the toe area. I was informed that I could return them for exchange if the same boots are available or I can take them to a cobbler. I guess I will be taking the brand new unworn Tony Lama’s to get repaired. Not the quality that I expect from Tony Lama as I have 3 pairs myself.
