We received the Active Reader from my mother in law as a gift for our 2 year old. He has been using it almost every day! We love the beautifully designed, tactile cards. Our son loves naming the objects on each card (like the octopus on the “O” card). Our 5 year old even joins in sometimes to “teach” his younger brother. All in all this is an amazing product and I would recommend it to anyone with a toddler or preschooler!

We keep these cards on our coffee table and nab one whenever we’re looking for a creative idea with our 2.5 year old. The activities on the back of the cards offer some great inspiration and topics of discussion. Working in education, I know how important it is to engage toddlers in exercises that will stretch their learning, language and expression, especially in these formative first few years of rapid development, so it’s been great to have this support.
