Sodas delicious and customer service excellent
Square root sodas are delicious and a real festive alternative to alcoholic drinks, but I had a problem with the delivery of my order, which went missing. Square Root customer service (Mike) was excellent and another order was shipped to me, though by that time one of the sodas I had ordered was not available and I was given a substitute. The carrier had been in touch several times to say they had my original order, even showing me a photo, before they told me they couldn’t deliver it, but then told the company they had never received it. Whilst grateful for the help I received from Mike I am sorry that Square Root have had to bear the cost of the carriers mistake and the delay to me meant I was unable to give a 5 star review.

Square root sodas are delicious and a real festive alternative to alcoholic drinks, but I had a problem with the delivery of my order, which went missing. Best quality lemonade Had to wait for it to be back in stock for a while but rapidly on with ordering once it returned! Stock qty updated as soon as I purchased to show back out of stock! Brilliant drinks. Terrible customer communication!
I love these guys. Their drinks are totally delicious and made by lovely people using carefully sourced ingredients - I’ve even been on a tour of their factory in east London and seen for myself! But I actually thought they must have gone out of business when my last order didn’t arrive. I started by emailing a few times and got no reply. Then I messaged via various social media channels - no response. I dug deep online and found their phone number - but there’s a recorded message saying it’s not working. And then my order finally showed up! So I guess the business is OK, which I’m very happy to hear. But please, Square Root, for goodness sake sort out your customer comms!!!

Terrible experience
I was previously a repeat customer but won't be ordering again after my most recent experience. I placed an order at the beginning of October and received an email confirmation as well as having my credit card charged. After waiting over a week for my delivery, I sent a note to customer service. No response. I sent another email a few days later and mentioned that I would raise a dispute with my credit card company. Still no response. There's no phone number listed on their website, so I made one final attempt to contact them through social media. Not only was there no response, but their Instagram account made it look like it was business as usual, despite the fact that several other frustrated customers had started using the comments to complain about missing orders. After finally raising a dispute with my credit card company, Square Root finally processed my order two weeks later and sent a lukewarm "sorry for the inconvenience" message, stating that they had been dealing with system issues. This was an absolute masterclass in how NOT to manage your comms during a tech issue: 1. Even if you don't know which customers are affected, you can still send an email to your customer list notifying them. And if you're concerned about spamming your entire mailing list, then put up a notice on your website and/or social media. 2. Once you've resolved the issue, do some proactive damage control, like a proper apology email with a discount code. This was truly a disappointing experience, and it was also my last Square Root order.

Amazing soda!
Now that I buy Square Root soda, I would never go back to any other type of soft drink. There isn’t a flavour that I dislike but Raspberry Lemonade, Citrus Crush and Lime and Lemongrass are my favourites. Great on their own or with gin! Not overly carbonated or sweet, just perfect soda.

Worth the wait
Sadly only 3 stars from me this time but the product was 5star as always. The service was not up to the usual standard as instead of a 2 day or so wait from ordering this time it was over 2 weeks and no heads up until I emailed asking where my order was and then a reply only came after a 2nd email to you! This has given me serious doubts about ordering again. Has your company become to large now and concentrates on your wholesalers rather than the individual buyers like myself? Will be so disappointed if that's the case! I still wish you luck for the future and hope you have a prosperous new year!

Very late despatch, zero customer support.
My order was placed on the 28th September. I’ve emailed customer support 2 times and DM’d them on Instagram once. At first I was just querying when my order would be despatched, but I then requested the order be cancelled. I received no replies to any of my messages and so raised a dispute with my bank. Less than 24 hours later I’ve been notified that my order is being packed ….. coincidence? 🤔 I’ve now sent another email stating that, at this point, I’d just like my money back please (as requested 3 times previously by email/Insta DM). Wonder if I’ll get a reply this time 🙄
