They work really well when I have been wild swimming, yet to use them in decent sized surf. Although tiny amounts of water does get in, nothing that causes me any issues and no ear pain to date. That is a definite improvement.

My son needs to wear earplugs due to surfers ear and regular ear infections. He is 13. Over the years we have tried different ones and they have either been lost or just not worn. In part because he hasn't been able to hear his swimming coaches. These have changed everything 2 months in and 1. Not lost (miracle) 2. Worn everytime, without being hassled. They are comfortable, effective and he can hear! Highly recommend.
