An excellent product. I practice freediving, but I had surgery on my left ear nine years ago—a tympanoplasty. I used to use vented earplugs for freediving, but water would always get in. I was heading to Okinawa for a vacation and read about SurfEars. On top of that, I had recently suffered from an ear canal infection and wasn't sure how I’d manage freediving during the trip. I ordered SurfEars 4. 0, curious to see how they’d perform. They saved my seaside vacation. Not only do they keep water out, but equalizing ear pressure is actually easier. The technology is simply mind-blowing. I recommend them to anyone with similar issues. I’ve tested them down to 12 meters so far, and there was no water in my ears. I don't regret the purchase at all and plan to order a spare pair just in case I lose them. Just one thing to note: you can hear absolutely everything underwater, which can be pretty spooky at times. The experience of making a purchase was fairly easy. I wish the estimated shipping time would have been showing during checkout, instead of it being clear only after purchase. Or at least insert a warning message to say that shipping time depends on the mailing company.

Perfect solution for all water conditions

I used my SurfEars on a recent family trip to Turks and Caicos where we swam and snorkeled every day. I have had previous trips where being in the water that much has caused my ears to get plugged, which greatly impedes my hearing and results in doctor visits after returning home. I was so happy to have these so I didn't have to worry. I liked that it was easy to have them hang around my neck so I didn't worry about losing them, and the carrying case to protect them when I wasn't wearing them. My only suggestion, and I don't even know if this would be possible, but would be to have something that it could clip onto my ear. Sometimes I would take them out in the water when I was resting on a floaty or something, but I wouldn't want them to be sitting in the water when they were hanging from my neck. All in all, I was very happy with this product.

I bought two pairs. One for my husband and one for me. My husband has earlier experienced problems with swimming due to his ears but with these Surfears he has no problems at all and is so satisfied! I love my Surfears as well!

Surfears are worth the investment if you are serious about keeping water out of your ears. You receive a range of attachments so you can customise the fit and the security leash is great for ensuring they don't get lost in the ocean. Finally, I love that they do not use plastic and minimise packaging. 10/10

Due to my ear issues which get worse when water comes in, I was unable to swim or enjoy any water-related activities. Now with Surfears I can swim, take ’normal’ showers and enjoy any water sports. It’s a true life-changer for me. My life has gotten undoubtably better!

Perfect start to finish

Been looking for a solution for my ears problem while doing watersports, windsurfing especially (water blocked ears sometimes for days). Surfears meet and went beyond my expectations.

Easy purchase process and timely delivery. They worked well on a recent snorkelling trip and I will be using them for swimming.

Very comfortable. I have used a few different sorts of ear plugs for swimming and they have all be uncomfortable and some do not work well. These are comfortable, work perfectly, and I can still hear with them in!
