I’m so happy with my experience. I was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad I ordered one. I wish I would have been better about selecting a fit because even though it fit fine on land once I was in the water I noticed some slippage even with the toggle tightened.

Having made a decision to look at head protection, I found the surfshell and so pleased I did. Perfect for my needs. I didn’t fancy a full on crash helmet and this is comfortable and duel purpose.

Hi. The brim is very good and sun protective. However the ear cover strap could be wider and bigger as it doesn't fully cover my ears please. Thank you

The surf hat is lightweight, functional, and well-designed. However, I lost it the first time I wore it in the ocean. Luckily, I was able to find my hat afterward. I got wiped out by a wave, the buckle stayed fastened, but the hat still managed to slip off my head. I believe the issue lies with the chin strap material; it's very soft and doesn't provide enough grip or stability in rough conditions.

5 stars! I’ve tried a few surf hats over the years, and I’ve been ‘clotheslined’ by a few ha ha! This one actually stays on when you take a tumble in smaller surf! If it’s blowing off shore or heavy surf I’d still wear a full helmet, but this is perfect for those mellow days and you’ll look cute! Thanks team!

Great idea but the child size/adult small was too small for me. I'll be ordering the correct size when the pink is in stock.

I love my surfshell! It is perfect - just looks like a hat - and good to feel more protected.
