I’m loving my SurfShell hat. Been using it for wingfoiling in strong winds at the Gorge. It’s been awesome. The front brim is solid in the wind and on big spills! I even get compliments on the water. It’s visible, protective, and stylish. A great design.

I haven’t use it yet but one of the safety rubber fell off already ☹️ — this needs a more secure, extreme type of double sided tapes.

It is comfortable to use.

Great protection for my family. Very easy to wear, non intrusive at all. However the foam is poorly stuck to the shell with 2 sided tape. The hot temperatures in Thailand caused this to immediately fall off on 3 of my 4 hats. Easily replaced with a much stronger adhesive but still a little bummed on the first day. The kids were reluctant to wear them at first but quickly learned their value and now will not go out on the water without them. Thanks to Laura and the Team for bringing this product to the market and working with us to get a few into Thailand. We believe in this product and recommend it to anyone who is catching waves, but especially to those with little ones who are still learning the process. If you are considering buying, just do it. You will not regret it. Price is fair. Product is great. 😎

The shipping to Reunion Island was not possible at first. I had to retry many times whereas you had done an update because the update was not complete. Thank you for having completed the update. Once the package sent, the shipping was all right.

I haven’t used the helmet in the water yet, but they’re comfortable to wear. However, you should let your French customers know that a customs duty of €14 applies.

Honestly, what a disappointment. It looks great aesthetically, but in actual surf conditions it feels almost useless. On the first duck dive, the helmet immediately flipped backward onto my neck. That means if your board comes flying back at you, the “helmet” is no longer protecting your head at all. Even just jumping through a wave caused it to shift backward again. It simply doesn’t stay in position, which defeats the whole purpose of impact protection while surfing. Another issue is that the hat itself isn’t securely attached to the plastic helmet section, so the whole setup feels unstable in the water. I already own standard surf hats with similar protective designs that hold much better. For a product at this price point, I expected something functional, not just good-looking.

My new Surf Shell hat has been so good! I've used it for a couple of surfs now and it's been such a good fit and comfy to surf in. I've used it in doing surf lessons (what I got it for mainly) and to have the sun protection with the added safety has been the best, I've already recommended it to a few mates and let a surf photog friend borrow it to try out as well. She has since bought her own which is cool. Highly recommend it. Cheers

Nice hat on a hot day. Ventilation created by the shell makes it cooler than basic surf hats.
