I was looking for a non-black/ summery work backpack/ tote and this one fit my needs (mostly). Love: size, color, general design in and out. It looks modern, is quite comfortable to carry around and fits everything I need (laptop, charger, essentials, a sweater/ light coat). To improve: Direction of zippers: if you’re right-handed and you wear the backpack on your right shoulder, thd zippers are the wrong way around (you need to unzip all the way in order to get something out of the main compartment or front pocket. And when closing the zippers, gravity works against you. Not ideal. The material of the front pocket: it this super thin stretchy material which is nice in itself but not for a pocket. I just left the plastic liner the bag came with (packaging) in the pocket because otherwise everything in the pocket is clearly visible to anyone behind me which is not really the idea. On the long term I will add a lined zippered envelope to the inside of the pocket tokeep it usable. Straps: the straps are a bit (1-2cm) too close together where they attach to the bag. This makes them compress your neck/ shoulders when wearing them for longer periods. I appreciate the padding but, especially in summer, they do get a bit sweaty. The padding also makes them a bit too sporty looking when in backpack mode in office clothes. Slightly narrower and slightly less padded straps would make the bag more versatile. The sliders at the bottom of the straps are veryweak/ mobile: when you swing it onto your shoulder from backpack mode(eg in order to get something out), they always slide to make the strap loose which requires constant adjustment. The adjustment is smooth so it’s not really problematic but still, especially for this price. I will be replacing my black/ winter work bag soon and this one is a strong contender but would be even better if above issues were addressed. Version 2 please! 😄
