It works like it should

The time required for delivery was longer than I had anticipated, but worth the wait. I had no luck finding the new efficient rotary heads in a local store.

My previous sprinkler heads were generating mist and wasting water and it was difficult to see where the water was even going. The sprinkler heads with the pressure regulators in them work very well. There is no mist generated The water gets evenly distributed and my lawn looks great. Thank you, rainbird!

The actual LNK2 WiFi module installs similar to a plug-in of a USB flash drive. But the instructions on getting it working are not helpful. And the set up in the app is very awkward. I struggled to get the Program and run-times to work. So I called the Rain Bird helpline. 1-800) 724-6247 The "helper" did not listen to my problem (which was --the next day after set up I could not get back to edit the Program. ) He instead assumed I was not connected to the internet --not true. Then he assumed I had not saved the Program(s), also not true. He kept telling me that he was looking at the app and my screen showed "XYZ". I kept telling him that just because HIS screen in the app displayed "XYZ" mine did not. He should have then tried to determine why I was not seeing what he was seeing. But he asked me 3 times: "Is there anyone there who can help you?" That was so very exasperating! First it was patronizing and second he was answering the Rain Bird HELPLINE. At one point I told him: "NO I called YOU for help. " He also told me to go outside and set it up so the app could work. I spent extra money to NOT have to go out in the sun/rain and bend way down to hopefully see the Rain Bird screen. I ended up abruptly saying goodbye and spending several hours trying to solve the problem. I did finally resolve it but the app needs to be more user-friendly.

Ordered some replacement heads for my 1800 series sprinklers due to units being ruined due to squirels and/or rats knawing on them. Was happy to know I could replace the heads and not the whole unit, worked perfectly.

Could not be happier with purchase, works seamlessly, install so easy, highly recommended, would tell any don’t hesitate!! Real thing!
