This is the third year which I've ordered canapes from StandByChef for my Christmas parties. Their selection is wide-ranging, which makes it difficult to decide which ones to order, as they are all delicious and look amazing! Paco and his team are extremely helpful and attentive, making the whole process really easy. I will definitely order again next year!

I was a little underwhelmed by the canape offerings of my wedding caterer, so with the help of a few friends acting as waiters, we used the Standby Chef service. I am so glad we did!! I had visited the cafe with my mother to see and test some of the canapes. They were all so delicious that whittling down our choices was the biggest problem we encountered. The canapes were delivered on time and presented on trays that were perfectly suitable for the occasion. We went for the beef yakitori, carpaccio on parmesan biscotti, chicken involtino, smoked duck, pan fried sardine and goats cheese with edible flower. The canapes looked beautiful and tasted divine. With unusual presentation and interesting flavour combinations, they were a real talking point at the wedding. We had so many comments from our wedding guests on just how good the food was. I would not hesitate to recommend Standby Chef to anyone and will definitely use them for any future occasions we might have. Thank you so much Standby Chef!!!

we ordered several platters of Tuna Tatiki, Goat Cheese and Nasturtium Flower Canape, Beetroot Marinated Salmon Roses, Beef Yakitori With Green Beans And Sprout, Asparagus Mini Quiches And Parmesan Dust and Mini Pavlovas. All the food was beautifully presented in plastic trays and tasted fresh with quality ingredients. The ease of ordering/delivery, variety of product and quality of food will mean that we will definitely use again. i can thoroughly recommend

Amazing food

These not only looked lovely, they tasted great. They really livened up our buffet table and also drew a lot of 'ooh' and 'wow' comments from our party guests. Would definitely have them at a future party!
